Just arrived back after a week in this hotel and we had a fantastic time. We stayed in Room 7 which was a harbour view room and the room was lovely. Fanastic view and the sea comes up to the hotel wall. Big mention to the security guards who sit outside the block. They were so friendly and always said hello etc.
The pool area is really nice too. Not many people seem to use it so it always nice and peaceful. Water was nice temp too for cooling off in.
The waiters from the restaurant were excellent. Polycarp and Rajveet and Dev always had big smiles to greet you and really looked after us. They had a great sense of humour too.
Breakfast was good, the usual eggs, toast and a selection of indian food.
The restaurant whilst not the cheapest around but cannot be classed as expensive by UK standards. The food that we ate there was really nice. There was just too many other places to eat to keep going back to the same place.
Hotel in a great locations with enough bars and restaurants to keep you entertained.
Too many staff to mention, but the manager must know he has a great team as everyone seems to be really happy.
Thanks and hopefully one day we will return.
This is by far, the best of all hotels i have ever stayed in ! The rooms were really mesmerising with an amazing sea view !
Staff is very friendly and helpfull, Food is very delicious.
A big thanks to Akash who helped us to arrange taxi , suggested own restaurant for dinner, sort out the wifi issue.
All the cleaners (Room) was really very polite.
It was really an AMUSING stay at "O Pescador".
We will surely visit again with family and bunch of friends.
Where to start !! This resort in Dona Paula gave us the most amazing Christmas and New Year ever !! Hotel Manager Nathan is a charming young man who along with his team cannot do enough for you. The food is incredible with Chef Savio at the helm of a fantastic kitchen team. Their Christmas menu which included Turkey and Christmas pudding was outstanding, with special Christmas cocktails. Lunches and dinners are varied with an excellent menu. The fabulous Restaurant Manager Ranveer is in charge of a team of waiters who are incredibly friendly and very efficient. I cant not mention Polycarp, Kumar and RITU who always have a big smile on their faces and make your stay at O Pescador a very happy one. Valencia and the team on reception were lovely and always happy to help, booking spas for massages and pedicures, where a car will pick you up and drop you back at the hotel.
You will not be disappointed staying at O Pescador, but dont take my word for it, book a holiday and see for yourself !
What can I say, absolutely amazing stay here. The rooms are practical and clean, furnished in a simple Mediterranean style and I had a great view of the beach and the sea.
I was in need of some rest and relaxation and this place delivered. I was able to spend lazy days reading by the pool, with the occasional cold beer, or throwing small coconuts into the sea on what for all intents and purposes is a private beach shared between this and the resort next door.
The grounds are a small yet beautiful tropical garden with palm trees and flowers, and colourful butterflies and dragon flies dancing between the plants and leaves.
The food was mind-blowingly phenomenal.
I must make special mention of Chef Savio, who is an absolute master of his craft. I am not exaggerating to say the food was the best Ive ever had. Seriously, words alone cannot do justice to the meals he prepared for me.
The rest of the team were really friendly, attentive, and genuine. I arrived late at night, was a speedy and friendly check in.
Nathan introduced himself to me the first day and was such a lovely man, eager to provide information or any arrangements.
Although most of my day to day service was provided by Shabhum, Anna, Ranveer, Polycarp and Devajeet of the names I can remember, thanks guys, you really know how to look after someone and are an absolute credit to the hotel.
Fairylight illuminated dining at night with the sound of the waves crashing on the beach is sublime.
I could go on, I love this little place.
(As mentioned in other reviews, the bigger resort next door does host events at night, but the audio clarity was great, so you kind of get to join in :-), and when there isnt anything on next door then you get lovely soft music piped in from O Pescador speaker)
Stayed with my wife for two weeks through TUI and had a lovely relaxing time. The hotel is run very well by lovely people. Room was fine and the pool lovely and very well maintained. The restaurant here is superb with many great options for eating any time of the day. The breakfasts were excellent again with a good choice ranging from omelettes through to a selection of curry dishes and some very nice muffins etc. We did hit wedding season so the noise from the hotel next door was a bit loud sometimes but always tended to end at around 10pm. All in all, a great place to stay and good value for money. Noticed as well, not much difference price wise between hotel prices and those of bars and restaurants outside. Must mention as well that it was both our birthdays while there and the hotel did lovely touches that made our days special. Thank you to everyone there. Martin and Karen Hart, xx.
