We stayed here January2015 4years ago before it was an Indy Resort. Great little spot, own beach quiet, and lovely staff, very helpful, no request ignored. Rooms were a little tired, but the cleaners worked wonders. we had B&B, which suited our needs.
Gem of a resort ...with its room (Harbor rooms) at the sea ( not by the sea or near the sea) and windows getting splashes from the waves.....if you live watching sea and waves this is one complete stop where you can enjoy the wave play right from your room .. and special mention to the staff and the versatile chef Savio who could customise to give the best gastronomic experience as per request.
Had a good time. The view from harbour rooms are amazing but the maintenance is poor. The TV was not charged and multiple gaps. But still the staff was very helpful and did everything to help us. The breakfast spread was decent. But to have a room close to the sea was amazing!
We discovered this gem of a beachside boutique hotel online while searching for a quality hotel in Goa offering proximity to the sea.
We booked the Harbour view room which is on the waters edge. We enjoyed our morning and evening coffee in our little sitout.
These rooms are in an annexe just behind the property, but have 24 hour security so quite safe.
The property itself is gorgeous. A lovely pool (not too large) set in a garden. And steps leading to the beach, quite deserted. Great for walks and a dip in the sea.
Breakfast was included .. it was just about ok. Eggs to order and a daily Indian selection. Limited fruit and cheese. The breakfast area overlooks the garden and pool. Great views!
Good a la carte food - good Western food and a decent Goan selection. We ate dinner by the poolside and ordered room service too. Good service at restaurant, by housekeeping and room service staff.
The location was just perfect. On a quiet road leading to the defunct Dona Paula jetty and a short drive from the restaurants and stores in Panjim.
What I really liked was that the hotel though full, had mainly sunbathing British tourists and a few Indians. No loud large groups with screaming children running amok!
My 2 grouses were limited breakfast selection and no separation of shower /bathing area in the bathroom so the floor got wet..
But Ill certainly return.. for the lovely waterside views and the value for money stay.
It was not a very good stay as we faced many issues during our stay here.
1. Wifi was not available for almost 1 day
2. Water supply was suddenly stopped in bathroom which caused lot of inconvenience for quiet some time.
3. AC was not proper. It was getting switched off on its own after some time and needs a manual intervention again to switch it on(even in midnight)
4. TV was not recharged and it was recharged only after we complained about it
