Well I stayed in Omega Beach Resort for about 4 nights. The resort is near Vagator beach and close to Anjuna Village. It's quite far from the airport. As compared to Calangute and Candolim this place is much quieter and don't have any night clubs, bars etc around this place. There are a couple of restaurants around this place and there is one I would like to mention called the Mango Tree and you need to eat at this place. They cook the most awesome Biryani in this world. In addition to that Anjuna is 5 minute short bike ride from this place which offers you options like Dominos and any other Goan cuisine you would like to try. You can also visit Curlies in Anjuna to spend some time to drink and have fun by the beach. The place is nice I mean for a measly 2000 bucks per night for two people including breakfast the place was great. Rooms were quite nice and clean with ample amount of space, good air conditioning and hot and cold water. The place though lacks in service arrangements like power backup, water backup and other such facilities that make it a well managed property. The resort is very good for those who are looking to manage things like cooking and all on their own. While stay at this resort bike is an absolute must. The Vagator beach is walking distance from the beach and is pretty good. Though the resort was good but I would prefer to stay in Candolim area because it's in the centre of Goa and market, restaurants and clubs are all around Candolim. A property in Candolim with the same facilities would charge me about the double of this and would not be as clean and spacious as this but then it's in the heart of Goa with everything around it.
