I want to recognize a few staff in the hotel who may our stay very comfortable. Dev Kumar, Saroj, Md. Ajmal, Ali, Debu, Sudip amongst many others. The resort is a big one, but the number of support people are not too many. Its maintained well, apart from the pool maintenance guy, who doesn't maintain the pool too good and is hestitant to give away towels after a pool activity. The food at the restaurant is not too flashy but good. The North Indian food quality is very very bad. The chef and his deputy comes from a southern state and is not good at advising his people, how to cook North Indian food...probably he himself doesn't know. There are more managers than people who actually work. The deluxe room was spacious and Room No. 1208 is actually the best positioned room in the resort...1st floor and opposite right in front of the pool. The Diwali dinner was Ok, but not managed pretty well. The approach to the property is not good, but the property is reasonably good. INR 5000 per day for a deluxe room (including breakfast) is worth the facilities, however I felt that our foreign visitors have spiked up the rates. I paid 25% more....several manuals say that "we don't charge service charges", but a bottle of water costs Rs. 50. The resort should know that its illegal to charge more than M.R.P. in India. Instead charge Service charge. What else...should we revisit the resort again....probably No, but a good first time visit. Parking your own car or a rental self drive car is a big problem. The security guards are no good...

WE were extremely happy with the service. The staff was very courteous and made our stay pleasant. There could have been more kitchen staff during breakfast as the single chef making eggs to order was over-worked and got my order wrong twice.

The overall ambience at the hotel was excellent with good view of the sea. Staff's and their service was good as they were kind and cooperative. Hotel is recommended as it has a good value for money as well as comfort in stay.

Though we just stayed there for a day(as we didn't get a reservation in the lemon tree which is close to this hotel) we felt it was nice. The front desk people are not very cooperative, they didnt even offer us another room when we didnt like the room, the room was small... anyway on the whole the facilities were nice and the entire staff except for the front desk guys were smiling and cooperative... i would suggest you to please see which room you are booking before booking it, ask them to share a pic... yes they did help us take our luggage to another hotel in the end... so ya it was a good place...

Having recently returned home from our stay at the Phoenix park, we have to say that this has to be in the top ten in the candolim area. We have stayed at a few other places in Candolim but this was the best yet . Staff are forever helpful and polite at all times . Grounds are well maintained,as are the rooms. Breakfast has a great choice of both Indian and continental dishes all very good. Would highly recommend this great hotel, even the walk from the main road is closer to 200 yards rather than 300. Altogether great value for money !

Just returned from Phoenix Park after a two weeks stay we were a party of Six adults. We have visited Goa many times and I have got to say this is the best hotel we have stayed in. All the staff were pleasant and helpful our room was cleaned daily clean bedding and towels+two bottles of water.We didn't upgrade we had a kingsize bed a flat screen TV mini fridge, kettle and tea and coffee.Breakfast was good offering Indian food, eggs toast juice tea and coffee On our last day we were going to pay to keep a room on but we were given a room at 6pm for 2 hours so we all could shower and change The hotel is about a 10 minute walk to the beach and is close to shops and bars We would definitely use this hotel again

Just returned from another stay at Phoenix Park Inn. I cannot rate this hotel any higher. Really comfortable, clean and friendly. Breakfast, food and drinks are great. Hotel room really comfortable, air con good, complimentary bottled water, tea/coffee daily in room. Excellent cleaning all over the hotel, lovely clean towels and bedding daily. The hotel has been refurbished during 2016 and I therefore think that all rooms including standard will be of good quality. One noticeable difference to year prior is that staff are asking for comments and checking on the comfort of your stay throughout, a good service as if you are unhappy about anything at all it will be dealt with quickly. Manager generally walks around all the Hotel and grounds checking that all is in order. We stayed over xmas and new year, did not stay in for the new year gala but wish we had of done after hearing other guests comments about the event. It both looked and sounded amazing. The staff worked so hard on this event in preparation and the tear down to restore all areas of the hotel ready for breakfast serving on new years day. If we had not already made prior arrangements with friends we would have stayed in for the Gala New Year and will surely take part next year. Well done Phoenix Park Inn and we look forward to seeing you again in December 2017

We stayed b&b which was very good! The food looked lovely on the gala evening! We had a refurbished room which was really nice! We have been told they are standard with Thompson but by request with Thomas Cook. The room was cleaned daily with fresh towels and a supply of bottled water!! Definitely recommend and stay there again! The young man who cleaned our room (5410) was lovely!
