Worst 'Resort' ever ! Worst 'Resort' ever !

by Dena R on January 19, 2016

I booked Eco village, hoping for a quiet, peaceful 4 days after a heavy work schedule. I arrived after a long flight, in the morning, and just wanted a bath and breakfast but got none of the two. There was no hot water and the dining area was littered with rubbish, the kitchen filthy and staff sleeping on the sofas. It was almost 9 a.m ! I had to walk miles for something to eat. The entire resort seemed like it had seen better days. Run down and shabby (I fully agree with Alex and Gulshan's reviews ) . Nothing like the images shown in the website. The bedrooms a basic, which is fine but floorboards are broken in places. The bathroom had cockroaches ! There is a pond which stinks . The poor fish a swimming in stagnant water. Never been cleaned. The worst part is the noise. Thump-thump music every night and day ! I actually lost the will to live ! Who this place is run by - I will never know. The manager went into hiding till we left ! I too spent Rs.10.000 a day . Not worth a penny.

A minute away from the quite and serene Morjim beach..The huts are spacious and beautiful and the staff is very helpful. If they had TV that would made the stay even more pleasant as the shacks on the beach starts to close by 7 due to Turtle nesting. If you want to relax This is a must visit place

Pleasant Stay. Enjoyed !!! Pleasant Stay. Enjoyed !!!

It was a pleasant stay for 2 days. The hotel is situated at a walking distance of some 100 mtr from Morjim beach. Its a basic cottage hotel. Point to be noted for the travellers is: its does not have AC, Tv and it serves vegetarian food etc however if your aim is to chill at beach and play around n hotel is only for the passing the night, its a good choice. Its almost 53 km far from airport (1.30 min drive). The place has too many mosquitoes however the hotel provides you net and all. Morjim beach is very nice, clean and calm beach. Shacks over there serves delicious food and very customer friendly. I have not had food other than break fast at hotel which was fairly good not sure not the food quality.

Horrible place! Horrible place!

Very badly maintained! Stayed there from May 2 to May 4th. No service at all from the hotel staff indeed there is no staff except the couple of guys. There was no food available indeed we had to provide our eggs to get something done. Rooms or so called cottages are bad in quality. Consider before you stay here.

We have been in Pirache Eco resort in April 2014 with our 3 years old daugther. The place is the closest to the Turtle Morjim beach. It is very nice to come back after a day on the beach or visiting Goa and leaving the dirty raods for the clean and very well mantained garden of the Pirache. The guys at the village are all very nice (they loved our daugther) and will help you with tips and suggestions and taxis and whatever. My wife made Yoga and Massage, and she was very satisfied. We had breakfast included (normally watermelon juice, toasts with marmelade and tee) and we stayed for dinner some times as well, vegetarian and no alcohol goan or indian or chinese food available. Of course they made some pasta for our daugther, so we had no problems in eating. The bungalov are a little small. We changed one bungalov since we found some clothes eaten by rats. Take care to close your luggage when you leav and during night. The beds were quite unconfortable but very big. The bathrooms were a problem, with the shower water staying on the floor until drying out so in the night we had to enter in a small lake to do our staff. Quite unpleasant. But I must say that when we asked to switch to another bungalov the personnel was quite kind and quick and we got a bette one. The beauty of the garden and the flowers during evening or sunrise is very worth a visit.

Demo Trip Must visit place

by Abhinay09 on March 17, 2015

Demo Trip All rooms are fairly same. Apparently they have AC rooms as well or something like that. I would suggest that before making a booking please check on those things. I did not needed either AC nor TV so have not bothered about it.

by Shilpa1929 on February 3, 2015

Demo Trip You should ask for mor emoder bungalov, since there are older and newer, and they are going to build more of them.

by teogabri on April 30, 2014

Demo Trip prefer a hut not a room, both are at same price but there's a huge difference

by Pallavi A on March 21, 2013

Demo Trip If you want to experience the outdoor shower, then ask for the one which is next to dining area.
