The best Saligao experience! The best Saligao experience!

by Shradha N on January 9, 2017

This is my third Homestay experience and I loved it!! Quinta Da Graca is a beautiful homestay hosted by Savio and Audrey. It's a beautiful property, surrounded by well maintained flora. The house is old style with Portuguese influence and I absolutely love the gargoyles at the entrance. We booked a room through Travel Guru and assumed it booked without any confirmation from the Homestay. On arrival we were told by Savio that the room booking wasn't done since they did not recieve payment from Travel Guru. My husband and I were weary and tired from our travel and simply wanted to rest. Savio did offer us a room and made sure our entire stay was very comfortable. We put up there for three nights and I must say, Quinta Da Graca was the best part about our stay in Goa! The rooms are very well maintained and extremely clean, including the bath/toilet. Savio is quite a story teller, telling us stories about Goan/Portuguese history. He also recommended us a couple of restaurants serving 'authentic Goan food ( a rare find in commercialised Goa). The breakfast was spot on, the whole deal; fresh fruit, juice, eggs/ sausages, tea/coffee and 'Poi', traditional Goan bread. There is a vegetarian option too. Audrey, his wife is a very warm and caring host. She prepared some cumin tea for my husband's upset tummy. Savio and Audrey are wonderful hosts, including their adorable pets( a Dog and a Cat). Worth your money, worth a stay. Loved the QDG experience and would certainly go back for more!! PS: Do NOT book this place through 'Travel Guru'. They did not even bother to inform us about the booking not having gone through, before we arrived at the Homestay! The 'Quinta Da Graca' website should be an ideal place for booking. Cheers !!

A Great Homestay Based on the Tripadvisor reviews we decided to book this place. This was the best decision as the homestay and room was totally worth the money. The rooms and bathrooms were clean and the gardens and house were beautiful and well maintained. I definitely recommend this place to people looking for something different. I will definitely come back and stay here again.

Wonderful stay! Wonderful stay!

We had a short but wonderful stay here. Came back to India after a nearly two year gap and absolutely loved it. The owners are the nicest people and always willing to help. Loved the room too! We booked the Maracuya room and it was overall a very pleasant stay.

Always upto expectations Always upto expectations

This is our third visit to Quinta da Graca and there is a reason we return to this place time and again. Audrey and Savio are one of our favorite hosts now. Choose them if you want a special experience in goa. We bet our two cents on it.

Good place to stay Good place to stay

This is a review pending for over a year. We stayed here in December 2015. Audrey and Savio hosted us - a large group of 14 people (of them 7 children). It is a lovely peaceful place to stay. Unparalleled neatness. Each time we would return to find our rooms in perfect order. They were able to suggest some lovely restaurants. They are an elderly couple - so children walking anywhere near their garden pots makes them a little uneasy. Breakfast is standard - sausages, buns/ breads, eggs, juice. Request for extra food may be declined. so be clear to order whatever needed in advance. Overall, a good place to stay.

Demo Trip There is one cottage which has no separation from another cottage on top. Make sure to avoid booking this if you need some privacy

by AngelaMathew on December 30, 2016

Demo Trip Choose the cottage at the entrance if you're a couple because you get your own porch and a lovely view of the old house.
