This is my third Homestay experience and I loved it!! Quinta Da Graca is a beautiful homestay hosted by Savio and Audrey. It's a beautiful property, surrounded by well maintained flora. The house is old style with Portuguese influence and I absolutely love the gargoyles at the entrance. We booked a room through Travel Guru and assumed it booked without any confirmation from the Homestay. On arrival we were told by Savio that the room booking wasn't done since they did not recieve payment from Travel Guru. My husband and I were weary and tired from our travel and simply wanted to rest. Savio did offer us a room and made sure our entire stay was very comfortable. We put up there for three nights and I must say, Quinta Da Graca was the best part about our stay in Goa! The rooms are very well maintained and extremely clean, including the bath/toilet. Savio is quite a story teller, telling us stories about Goan/Portuguese history. He also recommended us a couple of restaurants serving 'authentic Goan food ( a rare find in commercialised Goa). The breakfast was spot on, the whole deal; fresh fruit, juice, eggs/ sausages, tea/coffee and 'Poi', traditional Goan bread. There is a vegetarian option too. Audrey, his wife is a very warm and caring host. She prepared some cumin tea for my husband's upset tummy. Savio and Audrey are wonderful hosts, including their adorable pets( a Dog and a Cat). Worth your money, worth a stay. Loved the QDG experience and would certainly go back for more!! PS: Do NOT book this place through 'Travel Guru'. They did not even bother to inform us about the booking not having gone through, before we arrived at the Homestay! The 'Quinta Da Graca' website should be an ideal place for booking. Cheers !!
