Radisson Goa Candolim

Radisson Candolim is 4 Star that gives you 5 Star service and 6 Star breakfast buffet experience. The reception is professional courteous and accommodating, I was welcomed by Charan and Aaron who made me feel more than welcome,helped me out with the bookings. I guess they have great chef as the breakfast buffet on both days was exceptionally good, every item served inspite of the variety was tasty. Moreover bakery items were super fresh, authentic and delectable something I sorely missed in other Radisson or any other 4 or 5 star hotels. Had great experience throughout, had issues with the AC that was promptly fixed, every request was entertained. I am impressed. 4 Star for the Rooms, cause after having had stayed at the Radisson Blu, even the classiest and spacious rooms feel mediocre, lol. And appreciate the chocolates and fruits offered as welcome treat and the good night ones. Nice. The best part is right outside the hotel there is cab stand and you get bikes on rent. Which was very convenient. The beach is nearby, but I used the bike to explore the place. The next day booked the cab from the same point, great guys friendly and reasonable.

Fabulous welcome, drink, necklace made of tiny sea shells was a welcome gift. Faux sort of "colonial" style rattan sofas to sit at whilst you check in. Wonderful uniformed security guard, in what looks like a ceremonial get up. Warm welcoming professional staff, top hospitality here. Great location just of Fort Aguad Road, very close to banks with cash ATMs, shops, restaurants and cafes. Great fruit seller sole trader, sells grapes, melons, guava, mangos of good quality close by. Hotel has a jewellery shop with fabulous designs and a shop with ceramics in that maybe for show rather than sale(?). Great pool , with a bar, plenty of sun loungers, music a few nights of the week till 10pm. Very good rooms some with balconies. Air con and ceiling fans too. Good shower with gowns and slippers included, certainly in my room. The room attendant was excellent, Ram, very diligent and hard working. Breakfast is ok make use of the chef preparing freshly made omelette and masala dosa's both excellent and made to order. Might've been an idea to try the local chorizo..... Lunch and supper as well as room service all very good. Different prices minor style and speciality dishes compared to the Park Inn down the road. But both very good. If I try to find fault it might be the lack of privacy I feel here. Check-in was in front of people lounging on sofa, the card payment machine reads out the amount charged for all to hear, my room was entered to drop off night time chocolate treats from chef - spoiler alert. That said there are niftty buttons for do not disturb and make up my room button too. I had a lovely 4 day stay here. They are very security conscious not much gets in car wise . There is a taxi rank off site. Language ability here is higher more advanced than other places in Goa. Plenty of staff, in the lobby. Thanks folks.

A lot of people see amenities and beauty when looking for a hotel or resort. But I feel, what makes a property outstanding is the staff. The staff at this Radisson is just unbelievably amazing, warm and helpful. They will go out of the way to make you feel special. From the smiles at the entrance to the support for any special requests, they make you feel special. Kudos!

Good service, breakfast and pool. Electricity gets cut off frequently which turns off the air conditioning unit at night and doesn’t turn back on by itself. So we had to get up multiple times at night to turn on the AC unit. Bathrooms are small and below average for a 5 star hotel.

A well maintained property with a quiet ambience while being in prime of the town. Highly hospitable and welcoming reception staff. Extravagant breakfast with good options. Excellent housekeeping and concierge services. A minor point of improvement: PLEASE INCLUDE FOOTMATS IN YOUR ROOMS, BEING A BEACH PROPERTY.
