When we got in late night there was no one at gate , the resort was too silent with lights off when we saw the resort from outer side it was like old home kinda dirty and the hotel manager was too rude he was behaving lyk cyco .. The worst Hotel I Eva saw in ma lyf , swimming pool and all ev thnh is just for name sake .. the person who is staying for the first time in resort can stay in this resort as this kinds of persons knows nothing about resort and the person who regularly visits resort can't stay even can't enter in this type of resorts. Over all Terrible, think before u book this resort

Raj Resorts is a lovely hotel in Bogmalo (South of Vasco-da-Gama airport). Though the airport is really close by and busses to Bogmalo beach (and Raj Resorts) are stopping in front of the airport, it is quiet and planes are audible only in the distance and not a problem during the night! The family environment and Vivek helping with tours, bookings and serious problems made my stay very, very enjoyable!!! Nice side note: Breakfast will be brought to your doorstep every morning :) The beach is about 1km down the road. I always walked the distance but there is a bus going every couple of minutes too. The beach is beautiful and quiet with bars and restaurants serving great food!! It says at the entrance "Where the welcome is warmer than the weather". This is so true!!!

The previous review from sunnyjim encapsulates our thoughts on returning to stay at raj resorts for the third time. Vivek remains unfailingly helpful as are his staff and this lends itself to a great relaxed atmosphere. Clean comfortable rooms ( top floor with balcony to be recommended), freshly cooked breakfasts ( no problem ordering Indian specialities), not far to the beach (good exercise if you walk back up the hill!) and the small pool for a quick dip when you get back. What more could you want?

if you are a seasoned traveller to goa and you know what to expect with regards standard of accommodation in relation to the price you pay. then you can not deny the raj resort represents excellent value for money. it provides everything you need -clean spacious accommodation with ample storage space A/C and ceiling fans, television and tea coffee facilities in your room along with complimentary snacks and toiletries. and free wifi with good reception in the communal areas. yes the pool is on the small side and a little dated and In the shadow of a large tree which does shed a few leaves onto the pool, but its perfectly clean and usable and was cleaned daily during our stay without fail. the staff attended to our every need warmly and efficiently ( I really cant understand how some other reviews seem to criticise breakfast) ours was prepared fresh and provided promptly every morning by the wonderful Manesh with eggs ETC cooked to order. But as mentioned by so many other reviewers the real jewel of raj resorts is the owner and inimitable host Viveck from the warm welcome on arrival to the daily greeting with a smile and any advise or assistance required including arranging doctors appointments /taxis and just general advice on the area in general or the correct fares for taxis buses ETC, or just a pleasant chat to pass some time he somehow makes your stay at the raj resort that little bit extra special , we honestly feel that we arrived as guests but left as friends , thank you so much Viveck we look forward to seeing you all again soon. if you are looking for luxury then dig deeper in your pocket and pay one of the faceless hotel chains a small fortune for a sprung mattress and sullen staff if you are looking to experience the real Bogmalo in comfortable accommodation and with a great host then I couldn't recommend the raj resort highly enough

Raj Resorts Bogmalo Goa, A small property but how Homely!! Very silent, since it has just eighteen rooms, not very crowded. Small tiny restaurant, feels as if you are sitting at a friend's private dining room. Friendly staff at your service, homely food. The weekend stay was just like a home away from home. I would certainly recommend it to any one who wants to have a perfectly chilled out weekend.

Demo Trip if possible ask for one of the upstairs rooms with a roof balcony for great views down to the sea and a fantastic spot to catch some sun or watch the evening sunset . early morning visits from the local monkeys can be arranged by prior appointment via Viveck

Demo Trip Superior Rooms with balcony on the first floor are spacious and nice. Terrace Apartments are also a good option.

Demo Trip room 102 is on the ground floor with entrance very near to main gate. Traffic noise is minimal, as its a quiet residential street. Room 203 is directly above and you can just view the ocean from the balcony.
