- Location of hotel is good, its almost 3 KM from Calangute Beach. - Room service was very bad, had to call twice to reception for every request. - AC was not working and fan was only working on 5 number.

The view and the location of the resorte was excellent and exceeded our expectations. The service was friendly, helpful and above average but the condition of room is quite average and each and every room has a airconditioner which is not in a working condition and is quite unexpected looking at the overall standard of the resorte. There seems to be a misunderstanding regarding the package as i was assured free breakfast and dinner with any limits or extra charges but to my surprise the resorte had fixed a limit of Rs.500 which considering our family of three i.e. me, my wife and five year old son proved grossly inadequate. By the time we ordered two course the limit used to be crossed. .Most importantly, the cable connection and the TV service provided should be thrown in the garbage. Terrible service on this ground.

I booked Marinha Dourada resort for my holiday trip. I liked the room quality but staff servicing was not up to the mark. Food item was also disappointing as they only served continental food but cleanliness was okay.

It was very good experience in this hotel build in very big property, very near to famous beaches like Baga and Calangute). Hotel provides settle services to Baga beach in every hour. The exteriors of the resort are truly amazing even interiors are better than exteriors most of rooms are lake view with 40" LCD TV and Mini bar. Pools were very clean , you can enjoy beer while swimming. The staff was very cooperative and helpful.The food quality, Presentation & taste was excellent. Resto and bar were good with live music approx all days when we were there. I will recommend my friends for future bookings of this hotel

Wash room was untidy. Room service was okay but the staff was cooperative and overall the trip was memorable. I would suggest my friends and colleagues to book in this hotel only.

Disappointed Disappointed

It has taken me a few weeks to write this review as i wanted it ti be as accurate. The hotel itself is in a freak location, quiet and relaxing. The staff apart from the reception staff were great but funnily enough the room boy knocked on our door from 8am on our last day this we didn't appreciate especially when he called another 2 times trying to get a tip I assume, funny how the next day was his off day we did tip but less because a tip is freely given not asked for and we had tipped him twice during our stay.. The hotel needs a complete refurb it is tired and dated. The breakfast room sorry we couldn't eat there, the cups were cracked and it wasn't very easy to find a clean one, we decided to avoid eating there all together. The money situation wasn't great at the time but no matter when time of day you asked they never had any money to exchange to us it was just a ploy to keep you spending money in the hotel. Do not use the taxi drivers outside the hotel they are a complete ripoff, We had the privilege of meeting some lovely people. I would not stay here again there are much better nicer hotels to found in the same area.

This place is a true value for money. They were very accommodative with our requests and especially the pool view rooms are nice. Rooms are clean and hygienic and the location is accessible to most of the beaches around and is right next to the Saturday flea market.

This resort exceeded all our expectations. It is beautiful with a massive salt lake to view from your balcony.The lake is lined with a massive coconut grove and the lake is abundant with fish. The rooms a very spacious, well decorated. The airconditioning works very silently and efficiently and so does the mini bar and additional fan. There are security bxes in reception to rent which I would strongly recommend. There is security at the gate to stop unauthorised persons entering. Although Goa sufferes from frequest power cuts, this is not a problem for this resort as it boasts its own generators! The breakfasts are excellent and if you do not enjoy Indian food for breakfast, there are plenty of other dishes to choose from all included in the price. The service is very prompt and efficient. Maxi who stands at the entrance to welcome you to breakfast is very charming and helpful. Edwin, the Manager, is extremely courteous and always willing to assist. The "Be Happy" tailor who is there each evening from around 5.30 to 8.00pm is very businesslke and efficient and will also quote prices in Sterling for credit cards. This resort is so nice, we are going to book another four weeks for December2017/January2018.

This is the 6th or the 7th time I was staying here and trust me the management has got it all wrong...rooms are creeky now..they need to revamp thier rooms urgently...Breakfast the less we say about it the better...really bad ...need to pull up your strings if you want your customers to return back to u...

I went with my family and another couple in month of Jan 2017.we stayed there for 3 nights and observed following points.first the good things. 1)the location was good with baga beach nearby. 2)resort was very beautiful with 2 man made lakes and 2 swimming pools. 3)room was spacious with attached balconies overlooking lakes. 4) nice walking track beside the lake providing a good bird watching session. Now the bad things. 1)the staff needs to taught a lot about how to behave with guests.and they should also try to smile and greet the guests. 2)no toiletries are provided except a small soap.for anything else u will have to pay. 3)very old dated rooms with plastic chairs. 4)very small sized and noisy bed. 5)no hair dryer,hot water kettle,laundry bags available in room. 6)staff is biased towards foreigners. 7) no wi-fi in the rooms. 8) breakfast spread is really minimal with just 1-2 Indian options.better to have breakfast outside. 9) no floaties in swimming pools and kids area was closed for no activity for the kids. The overall experience was not good.the hotel location and looks are good.but zero hospitality kills the good experience.would not suggest the hotel to anyone specially to any indian.
