The rooms are very basic (it is only a two star hotel) but is kept very clean. The rooms have ceiling fans, a well stocked fridge and mosquito plug-in. The room had a TV and AC. There is hot water for the shower but you have the water heater which keeps tripping. The hotel only provide one towel per person in the rooms. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly especially housekeeping. The pool was clean.The breakfast provided by the hotel is average. I would highly recommend going to the bakery ...tripping. First of all the rooms were not ready when we reached. The AC was not working. I had booked 3 rooms and the one without AC was better than the AC one. The ground floor rooms had no balcony. No breakfast was been asked and furthermore the staff was dull....

You get what you pay for! You get what you pay for!

A cheap and cheerful place where we found the staff to be polite, friendly and most helpful. Sure the accommodation isn't as good as westerners are probably used to, and the remains of Sparky the Fruit Bat that were suspended from the powerline only a few feet from our balcony put my son off leaving the doors open at night, but that said the manager kindly upgraded us to a superior room free of charge after a couple of nights, so I've no complaints and would go back again. It's worth paying the extra for the superior rooms imo as the standard rooms are pretty abysmal, but remember you're paying a lot less than the 100+ per night charged by the likes of the Hard Rock hotel (where a small bottle of water served poolside will cost you a whopping 3+ per bottle versus 0.10 at the supermarket). With a huge breakfast for 2 costing less than 10 at the top class restaurant 'Brittos' (only a 5 min walk away) the money we saved on accommodation mean't we could eat like kings, so we have no complaints and thoroughly enjoyed our stay,

We booked this hotel through OYO & it proved to be very good, located right besides Infantaria,this place has approx 40 rooms, 20 given to OYO for booking.The room was a sort of 1 BHK with AC,LCD & hot/cold water..The breakfast consists of Aloo paratha/Gobi paratha/Puri bhaji (tastes yummy)- any one & Tea/coffee...There is a "Chocholate room" too in the same premises..The staff where very friendly & helpful..The swimming pool was fully operational with sunbeds lying around. Fantastic experience & absolutely no complaints at all - Truly value for money

A horrible experience, DIRTY Hotel, RUDE Manager A horrible experience, DIRTY Hotel, RUDE Manager

by aseet1963 on December 12, 2016

1. On day 1 there was no bed sheet for the extra bed. Pillow cover missing. 2. DIRTY HOTEL. Please see attached PICS. a. The entire floor of the hotel was dirty. b. Table covers during breakfast were very very dirty. Seems not changed for DAYS together. c. Bathroom door in room was unpolished and broken. d. air conditioner in room seem to fall anytime. e. Tiles in bathroom were makeshift. f. bathroom window dirty, never cleaned. g. walls of room had lot of marks. 3. Water bottle in room was Bisleri Bottle, 2 Litres but REFILLED. 4. Pool Closed Sign always there besides the pool. 5. Day 2 when we were taking a swim in the pool, a lady apprears and without any introduction told us to get out as one of the members had normal clothes ON. She was very rude and told us that pool water would get dirty. Anyways there was a lot of flies and other dirt in the pool. 6. BREAKFAST - biggest issue. Day 1 - waited for 45 minutes for placing order. Then had to shout to get order placed. Breakfast came in another 45 minutes. None of the waiters was any responsive. No Manager/ Supervisor. When after all this we requested for toasted bread, we were told since there is no power, bread can not be toasted. Day 3 - we pre ordered our breakfast previous night and set the time for 930 AM. We reached the breakfast venue at 9.25AM. Nobody attended. At 9.50 am, one of the waiters attended us and told us that since your time was 9.30, now the breakfast is cold and "We are not responsible". We approached the lady (supposed to be manager - later found her name - Loraine) about delay in breakfast, dirty table cover etc. We were told we should go and stay in a 5 Star only. Positives - Manager names Mark was extremely courteous and helpful.

We have got a deal through Make My Trip and thus we have stayed here. If you getva discounted price its alright to stay here but not on the rack rate. This is OK hotel with no lift, close to Calangute beach. The hotel rooms and OYO rooms are separately decorated so you feel discriminated. We had a lot of issues with air condition but hotel management didn't took any responsibility apart from saying sorry. There are many options in this area and one have a look around.

Demo Trip Better to book the hotel directly. Never book through Oyo Rooms. Check the room before settling in..{No option if you have prepaid the stay}
