Over all the stay was ok. We actually did not enjoy our stay.The food was horrible and hotel had fixed menu due to which we were unable to order as per our own requirement.It is not a 3 star property as shown online.The tarriff for this hotel is too high as per the hotel condition and for a stay of guest.

I booked a room in this hotel with my friends .. They promised complimentary bf,free stag entry to a club But they were unable to fulfil their promises Then i asked for the complimentary stuffs they told u had to take that in writing from us.. They had no solution for rainfall.. the water got inside our room our half of the luggage was drenched If you will ask for anything they will show you blank faces THEY WONT EVEN HESITATE WHILE ABUSING YOU This is just a teaser of our experience You can contact me on 8889400009

The reason why I am writing this to you is to bring to your notice that the service and the employees at the hotel "Grandeur De Sanchi " (earlier known as Royal park beach resort ) located in Calangute, Goa, are pathetic. Upon reaching the hotel , we were given two adjacent and attached standard rooms on the 2nd floor. The comodes in both these rooms were horrible and broken and the stench coming from these bathrooms was like some roadside public toilets. All this in a hotel which claims to be a four star facility. So upon arguing about this, we were shifted to deluxe rooms on the 1st floor. These so called "deluxe rooms" had clogged bathrooms where the water doesn't go at all. The promised 24 hrs water supply was hardly there and there was no hot water even for half an hour during the day. Upon asking, on all three days, all we got to hear was "we shall let you know ". At this time, I would also like to bring to your notice that the receptionist also sent to the room, a service personnnel one night at 11pm, to look into this matter. We were shocked to realize that he was fully drunk and was hardly in his senses. (His name was Manoj and he even agreed upon asking the next day that he was drunk. He had no regrets about it and was in fact smiling as if it was very casual). The employee at the front desk had the audacity to send a person who was inebriated to a room. Where in the world would you see drunk employees moving around in a hotel where families come to stay? There was no prompt service for anything we asked for but for pushing us out of the room during checkout, there were two people in the room, continuous calls on the phone and also on the mobile. If only these people were so prompt in other things as well there wouldn't have been a necessity for me to write this review in such a tone . This is what was mentioned on their website - " it's your time to relax, rejuvenate and experience the luxury at Grandeur de Sanchi". Where on earth would anyone experience all this if there is a clogged bathroom without hot water and drunkards moving around? Relaxation was out of question as my husband and father were more worried about our safety when we were there. I really wonder if this hotel is really a four star facility. I hope some strong measures would be taken in this regard and strict action would be taken against those employees. I am writing this to you because I am thoroughly worried about the services they offer and very disappointed. I hope such reviews are important to you and that this complaint would be considered as urgent from a customer and proper action would be taken to prevent such faults in the future because there is no need for those people to insult customers and put them at risk like this during their stay. I also mentioned this to the manager there and also wrote in the feedback book given by her. I also would appreciate if you can keep me informed about the action taken (if at all taken) and also inform me as to when my request would be acted upon.

I traveled to goa with my wife n got the opportunity to stay at Royal Park Beach Resort. Had a wonderful experience. Next year again in the month of Jan or Feb'15 I am planning to stay at the same place with my group of friends

wonderful place...good services,good food and good ambience...i enjoyed with my friends. I would definitely recommend you to try this hotel...!! Moreover the location adds alot more value to this. The services were remarkably good. The staff was polite and the maintenance was amazing.

This should be the last option to stay at Calangute if you could afford the exorbitant tariffs at this place... Very small rooms, pathetic food and poor service make this hotel completely unbearable. FYI - They have renamed the property as Grandeur de Sanchi
