Stay was excellent value for money invested. Amenities offered were very good, though the b/f could hav been better if either juice was offered or at least eggs/veg.snacks were added to the bread/butter/jam/coffee or tea. Surroundings including swimming pool are well maintained. Will definitely go back during the next lean season since rates at other times are not affordable for an average retired couple.

It was really nice place. I have 3 kids, they really enjoyed a lot in the swimming pool. Where i stayed so the resort is very close to beach they have a very good breakfast and its a very nice trip for me and my family.

The hotel is situated very near to the beach so it was good. therewas no room service which i didnt like because on the site it was shown as 24 hrs room service. I came to know it was due to off season in Goa. The hotel staff were very good and helpful. overall a good experience.

Ive been going to goa for over 20 yrs now and like many people will tell you its changed [ but everywhere does eventually ] it all comes down to what people expect of a destination .when you have visited for so long you get to know whats poor ,good,very good and over the top price wise.why all inclusive has arrived i don,t know personally ,you miss out on so much street atmosphere.But for an old fashioned stay in Goa you can,t go far wrong with Ruffles .It was my first stay at this accommadation and it won,t be my last ,it was totally what i expected and found it great.Russel and Melanie were very accomodating and the staff all very friendly. The restaurant has always been very popular for many years even with previous owners so all tables now a days are booked even guests have to book ,its renowned for very good English food cooked to perfection.Me and my partner flew home on saturday the 11th after staying 3 weeks in room 13 overlooking the rear pool area it was perfect for us.Russel has got a work in progress ongoing and he wants to improve things slowly the rear pool bar area is probably on his list as its the only bit that needs attention.But apart from that its perfect for us and bring on next winter. cheers to all Steve.

What a shambles, guests allowed to book table's, sit all night spending little money consuming cheap tasteless food, maybe because of the expensive drinks package ,then to top it off.(No WiFi), even the beach shack's provide that. Don't deserve this prime spot.

Once again I have been back to my perfect piece of heaven at Ruffles Beach Resort , Candilim, Goa,. Still ran by Russell and Melonie , and I have had the most perfect 4weeks holiday. The rooms are just ideal , location of this hotel is just fab , a five minute walk from the beach , situated onthe main road in candolim with easy access to wherever you need to go. The staff are all excellent and pleasant, nothing is too much trouble . What more an I say ? Yesssss I will be back again next year !!!!! I can't wait .

I was looking at the latest reviews of this place before submitting this, wondering if other people were talking about somewhere else! Having stayed for short periods of time at a couple of other not so nice places in Candolim previously to transferring to Ruffles, we can appreciate quality when we see it! Staff are lovely and helpful. Rooms are cleaned daily, towels & sheets changed every other day. We found management dealt with on reception to be more than helpful. We stayed in room 17, which overlooks the quieter rear pool, so never suffered any adverse noise problems from the nightly entertainment, even when we had a couple of early nights to catch early morning flights. The only reason I have given 4 stars instead of 5 is the lack of choice at the inclusive breakfast. Toast, bread, eggs or the daily indian choice plus tea or coffee gets a bit repetitive after a while. If you wanted something other than this you are asked to sit in the main restaurant at the front, which means paying for everything ordered.

We booked this hotel on Oct 20th, 2016 through OYO rooms for a trip on Jan 6th-Jan 8th, 2017 for 10 people. We called up the hotel on Dec 25th and talked to the Manager (Caeser). He confirmed us that the rooms are booked on our name. When we reached the hotel on jan 6th morning, the hotel guys informed that we do not have a booking. During rush hour almost all the hotels in Candolim were booked and we were stranded in the middle of nowhere. We travelled from Bangalore taking the morning 6:10 Flight to Goa. We all were tired and feeling sleepless. The manager usually comes at 10:30 AM to hotel but that day he didn't show up. neither did he pick up the call. We called up OYO and a field person (Swapnil) came for our help. The OYO guy didn't even talk to the hotel guys. It was looking like as if OYO had all the fault and they didn't confirm with the hotel. "DO NOT BOOK ROOMS THROUGH OYO". Hotels may or may not comply to OYO's policies and bookings. Finally OYO arranged us a room in another hotel (Lui Resort) which was not even up to the standards of Ruffles.
