The hotel is located in 1 minute from main road and in 10-15 from the sea, its windows open on the yards of neighboring hotels and houses. A noise from the main road doesn't reach for the hotel. There are two the closest passes to the sea. One of them leads through private cottages, the other leads through hotels. There is active trade on this street. Near the hotel you can find quite good restaurants (Top Nosh, Earthen Oven).
Meals. I have only breakfast. The breakfasts in this hotel include: flakes, oatmeal porridge, butter, bread (also toasts), jam, tea, coffee, milk and nothing else.
Service. The staff is friendly. However, if you want to have your room cleaned, you need to ask about it on the reception. Although I gave tip, they didn't clean my room without asking. From 13 days of my stay in the hotel, they clean my room 5 times. In the end they ignore my request at all.
Impression. The hotel is nice and tidy. It is not so cleaned as European hotels (e.g. Cyprus), but it is neat enough. The building where I leaved was old. The furniture is old. The air-conditioner is old but it works. Bathroom equipment functions well.
About sleeping. The elevator doors need to be closed manually. A classic melody is played as notification. This melody you can hear in the day and in the night on all floors. Besides it, passages are are extremely resonant and sound proofing is poor. Every morning in 6 a.m. I heard the checking in people. And in 7 a.m. I heard neighbors who went to have breakfast. I advice you to take fumigators, there are a lot of mosquitoes. You can take anti mosquitoes stick at the reception.
For early checking in people say you need to pay 25$.
About sea. The main advantages are huge beach and ocean. There are beach beds, you need to pay 100 INR for the whole day if you want to use them. There is also endless chain of cafes ("shaks"). If you spend there more than 500 INR you don't need to pay for beach bed. The menu in this cafes is rich, the meal is tasty and cheap. I had a lunch there every day - no food poisoning. Don't be confused if you see dogs on the beach. You can see there also cows.
The sea was extremely stormy for 4 days. However, it calms down later. The Moon influences on storms and tides. The sea is opened that's why there are always waves.
About Candolim. It is the traffic that is the main thing confusing you. It is noisy and chaotic. It is not easy to cross the road. You need to get skills for it. There is pavement on the main road, but it is not everywhere and it is only on the one side.

All the best
1-Hotel staff is very poor
2-they don't even provide the bucket for bath
3-they also don't give free Wi-Fi even they have written that they will give
4-manager even don't interfere in hotel problems
5-lift also don't work
6-managment does not repair lift
So my advice is that don't even think about to go in this hotel and don't even wast money in this hotel plzzz
