Stay was wonderful in this hotel. Room was well furnished with all the basic facilities. Staffs were kind and polite in their work. I had my breakfast in the hotel it was fantastic in taste. I would definitely recommend this hotel to others.

Beach was very close to hotel. Room was average/basic. Staffs were nice in their service. I had my breakfast in the restaurant it was also fine. I had also used swimming pool it was clean. Overall it was an average stay.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay here, with the friendly & courteous staff, beautiful view of the pool from the room. The resort is slightly out of the way, but taxis are always available. The best part was the walk from inside the resort to the beach, felt like our private paradise without any crowd, "far from the madding crowd."

I upgraded to suite as the ordinary rooms did not have bathtub. They should think of keeping television set with few more channels in the bedroom. The sitting room does not have A/C.

Just returned from Sonesta inns on the19th of march after a wonderful stay in Goa. The hotel is brilliant in every way the staff ,the meals and the rooms are all first class. Previous reports I have read criticising various things about the hotel I never saw, the pool and sunbed area provide towels and an attendant who looks after your every needs ,the gardens are lovely as you walk to the beach around 200 metres away with endless beach shacks all offering free sun beds overlooking the sea. I can't imagine a more beautiful setting, We was in a hotel suite with living area and separate bedroom overlooking the gardens but I think a standard room overlooking the pool would be just as good if not better. No complaints at all about the stay in Sonesta and look forward to returning.

We recently had a two week stay at Sonesta Inns which ended 12/03/2017. So fresh in my mind was how helpful kind and eager to please were all the staff. They went out of their way to make our stay as pleasant as possible even when we checked in at 2 am the reception and the porters were still smiling and happy to help. The room we had no 111 was supposed to be a garden view but we still had a view of the pool from the balcony, which made it pleasant sitting their early evening having a drink and soaking up the last rays of sunshine, The room itself was clean and kept that way by the boys who cleaned it, however the bathrooms decor was quite shabby although the toilet and sink was spotless. One tip is please take some coat hangers with you as there are only 6 to 8 hangers in the spacious wardrobe. Outside the pool and surrounding areas were kept neat and tidy although there is a lack of sunbeds to cater for the residents and we found ourselves on the beach where the sunbeds are free if you frequent the shacks and buy drinks and snacks. The food and drinks in the hotel itself although slightly more expensive were still reasonably priced It's only a 5 to 10 minute walk to the main road where there are all manner of places to eat and shop. All in all this was a very nice holiday and we will be making a return journey. We flew with Thomas Cook (in a nutshell a different review but not a pleasant experience)

We were 4 friends and had booked the duplex villa. It had 3 bedrooms with attached baths and the rooms were spread across 3 levels. the room on the ground floor was kind of cramped as it had a low ceiling and couple of steps down from the living area bot i loved the overall layout. Would be an excellent option for a large family. The property is right next to the beach so one could swim in the ocean and just walk back to the hotel to wash up. The breakfast was decent and nothing too elaborate. we didnt have any of the mail meals at the hotel but one evening had drinks and snacks by the pool side bar and had a good experience. Room service was good and extremely prompt. The hotel is a 5 min walk from the mail candolim road and there are few shops next to the hotel for essentials and even for hiring scooters. overall a good experience.

The accommodation was very good and the pool and external areas well kept. The bar, waiting and cleaning staff were excellent. However management was found to be totally inflexible, other than the catering manager who was always quite accommodating. I was unfortunate enough to suffer the famous Deli Belly (nothing to do with the hotel food) for 24hrs. This was from approximately 3 am through the entire rest of the day and took a further two days to completely clear. About 11 am I felt a small dish of yogurt might be helpful and asked one of the staff if that would be possible only to be told breakfast finished at 10am. I remonstrated and said these were extenuating circumstance to which I received the same reply. He contacted his manger who also gave the same reply but agreed to send me a dish of yogurt to my room. When it arrived there was also a bill which I refused to pay saying as I was concerned I had paid by missing my breakfast, yes you have guessed it, breakfast finished at 10 am I was told once more. It stared to sounded like a Brian Rix farce. On the day I left my room had to be vacated by 11. am, (no ifs or buts). My bus to the air port was not due until 22.25. so I had time on my hands and asked if there were any changing facilities available to change from beachwear to my travel wear in the evening. No I was told, (this was approx. midday) but was told I could hire a room up to 15.00hrs for the equivalent to 30.00. I was not amused. I was told I could change in the gents toilet but no shower was available. Luckily I had a very good relationship with the beach restaurant and was allowed to use their facilities. When the time did come to go for the bus, a ten minute walk up a narrow road, there were no porter staff available to assist with the luggage, the manager on reception told me. Management had spoiled the entire experience. There is tee shirt being worn by locals with a tongue in cheek logo "No money, no honey". This appears to be the mantra by which the hotel management live. What they do not appear to understand is that service provision has to better than expectations to justify reward. This is the third time I have stayed in Candolim, and my previous two experiences could not have been better, where I stayed at small hotel "The Aldia Santa Rita", which could not have been better or more helpful. As for this hotel I would not recommend it to anyone, which is a pity because it is a lovely place.

The best part of our 2n-3d stay was the access to private beach. It has a good breakfast spread though the menu was mostly repeating. All the items I tried tated good. Minibar charges were reasonable. Also arranges live music at the weekends. A few bistro/cafe around this place so that you need not eat always here. A small playarea for the kids. Good swimming pool and jaccuzi area. All through the day, the pool chairs remain occupied. The spa and salon look good though I didnot try it. Houses a mini gym. Has cabs always ready to go at the entrance car park. This is my second stay here after a gap of 8 years and nothing much has changed since then. And foreign tourists are the majority here, may be around 80%.
