The location of the Hotel is very good. Breakfast buffet was cold, the food was undercooked which on highlighting the staff served the warmed version. No idea why we had to "ask" for basic thing like shaving kit which should be part of the toiletries. The bad experience during breakfast buffet made us opt out of the dinner which we were planning to have on their rooftop restaurant.

How could the staff be so nice?? Some guy name Dilwar must say ; he was so courteous and treated us so well. Will visit again to experience a good stay..would recommend my known people to visit so even they can have such great stay.

We stayed in this hotel during last week of December and had a very bad time. How this hotel has been given a 4 star rating is beyond our comprehension. Although the hotel lacked basic amenities but that is still forgivable. What really pained us was the fact that THIS HOTEL DOES NOT RESPECT PRIVACY OF ITS GUESTS AND IS TOTALLY UNAPOLOGETIC ABOUT IT. The housekeeping staff can use their master key to get into your room if you do not open it after ringing the bell twice even though they know you are inside! I have not seen this practise anywhere and certainly find it to be a big cause of concern. We had ordered hot water bucket since their Geyser wasnt working. We had not answered the door since we were getting dressed but the housekeeper chose to use his key and opened the door to our surprise and embarrassment. My wife had to shout get out twice before he closed it again. Right to one's Privacy is a basic expectation from any standard hotel and it is absolutely irrevocable. Even entering the room partially without the guests' permission and especially when it is occupied is not acceptable. Guests' privacy is foremost and should be respected at all times unless in cases of dire emergency. Our right to privacy was breached. While most of the staff was cooperative and were trying to resolve the issue when we complained about it, the attitude of hotel front office manager in charge Mr. Ritesh Sikka was not correct. He was totally unapologetic and insensitive to the whole issue. He seemed to feel that privacy is not a big issue after all and the person is entitled to enter the room if you are not answering the door. His exact words to me were "Ek to hum apko garam pani de rahe hain aur doosri taraf se aap chilla rahe hain". To this my wife reacted and said that it is not a favor that he is doing to us but a duty. The reason we chose this hotel was that it has been given four star ratings in MMT/TRIPADVISOR but dont be fooled by it. Not only this hotel lacks basic amenities such as 24/7 hot water, clean room, refrigerator (it defrosts automatically and leaks) and functional AC (it only cools half the room) but also HAS UNPROFESSIONAL STAFF WHO DO NOT RESPECT GUEST PRIVACY. I strongly feel that ACACIA group should take strict action against Mr. Sikka for his unprofessional and insensitive behavior. I fail to understand how a person with least regards to the guests is a front office manager. Of course his sub-ordinates will take cue from him and behave accordingly.

I have just returned from 2 weeks at the Acacia over the Christmas & New Year holiday. The rooms are always kept very clean with fresh towels and shower gels provided the towels where always folded into some varying type of animal or other creation on our bed when we returned from the beach each day. The beach is only a 5 to 10 minutes walk depending on your mobility . A BIG SHOUT OUT TO our room cleaning boys MILAN and SUMAN. Well done boys and the hotel should be proud to employ you. Your both a great asset . The negatives to this hotel where that the roof top restaurant had a DJ several nights of the week who did not seem to understand that LOUD is not always necessary and especially not at midnight. The bar staff on the roof top also seemed to play everything loud but because of the base it was always very loud and annoying in our room. I did call reception several times but it would only be turned down for a few minutes. I have stayed in ACACIA several times but never over the Christmas period. I believe the Roof top does not need a DJ. The setting is swanky and romantic so why spoil it with a loud BOOM BOOM noise is beyond me .... but only my opinion We are back in April 2017 so hopefully the DJ will have gone and the roof top bar staff have received my feed back and it will return to its glory. I would recommend this hotel Regards

Demo Trip Pl ask them specifically for good quality towels. Rest everything is fine. Also choose ur bed as they are very soft.
