We had a stay at Byke for 2 nights and it was nice experience. The service was great as per the expectations from front office, restaurant, housekeeping to maintenance departments. It will be a pleasure to come and stay with Byke Goa again...

This place belongs to 2000s not in 2020. The place is opp. to Cavelossim beach and also overlooks Sal river. It is quite scenic and that's the only advantage. Rooms are not that great. Hot water was not available. Room did not have Phone to call up reception and even after informing phone wasn't provided. Lunch buffet was good but overpriced. Overall 6/10.

Dont go to this place, its awful. After nearly an hour at reception we were shown to our SUPERIOR room.It was filthy, electric hanging off the wall, and the balcony was crumbling. We have visited Goa 8 times, and this is the worse place we have ever been shown. We didnt unpack, but walked down the road to find another place to stop.We paid 40 a night for a room for 3,this hotel charged more, and was disgusting, even the smell was unbeleivable. We have been told since its probably the oldest hotel in the area, and was to be shut soon.

booked a standard room after seeing a nice picture on the website. room was like a big cupboard. after refusing two other similar rooms we paid extra for a deluxe room. this was bigger but virtually as bad. problems with hot water, leaking aircon, lack of towels and overall bad hygiene. after meeting with the general manager, we were moved to a " suite ". this was a large fesatureless room with a couch, table, two chairs and a non working television. there was also a bedroom with a wardrobe. anywhere else this would be a ordinary room but appears to be the best this hotel can offer. breakfast restaurant was okay, with ample continental breakfast and hot indian food. this property could be wonderful due to its marvellous location on the river, but needs either re-building or a very major refurb. so, if you have no other choice pay the extra and take a suite, and the best of luck to you, bucking the trend, Ajay and Kaira on reception were very helpful and pleasant and are too good for this establishment
