Worth every penny.
The staff is extremely polite, helpful, honest and understanding.
Entire team is ready to go extra mile without any expeection from guests. (Unlike other hotels where ataff can be helpful only of tou are prepared to give heafty tip).
The food served for breakfast and dinner is awesomely delicious. They offer variety of indian cuisines alonf with continental option.
Sonce the hotel is located right in the middle of the capital city Panjim, all amity are just at a few minutes walk.
Rooms are neat and tidy with all necessary luxuries included. Staff is highly trustworthy (we left our luggage open when we went for day out with valuables inside)
Our stay was for 4 nights and we enjoyed every second of it.
I stayed at the property for 4 nights in Dec 2016 for a leisure trip.
The staff was lovely and courteous and was willing to make your stay comfortable with a smile on their faces.
Regarding the property well its pretty far from the "places to be" in goa .. its basically in the main city which is very commercial. Though the location is not bad but if you prefer quieter areas then reconsider.
Room was pretty good with a balcony and decent living area as well, would say well made and neat BUT not modern. Got the river-view facing one and that was worth its value, especially during the early mornings and evenings.
Pool is just about OK, but they have a decent gymnasium so for all the fellow gym rats .. you can surely have a decent session even on your vacations in goa.
The breakfast spread was decent, not comparing it a 5 star property but it was nutritious and did the job.
Though would not fail to mention here the UNPROFESSIONAL, ARROGANT and rather idiotically RUDE staff at the hotels CASINO.
They behaved as if the place wasnt less than a Bellagio, acted really pricey..living in the same property the least you expect is to have a look inside, infact be encouraged to play a bit as well.. but they had the audacity to tell us that " only one of you can enter to have a look inside.. and others will have to wait outside!" I mean come on!
Not to mention the place looked dingy and rather dark for a casino even from the outside, so thanks but no thanks. hence AVOID.
All in all if you want to spend your time on the beaches read NORTH goa and prefer calmness and no traffic this is not the place for you but if willing to travel for about 40mins want a decent property within 5K per night, fairly big rooms, that has a gym, good breakfast then this is not a bad option.
Located in Panaji, the hotel is in a confirm table distance of several attractions in the place. however, real experience of Goa is living for a few weeks among the locals. Once can rent a 4 or 2 wheeler and explore the number of beautiful beaches in the city. A stay at the Crown is suggested for those in a hurry. located conveniently in panaji, provides you with a great opertunity to go for a walk exploring the Our Lady of the Immaculate Conception Church, Goa, the local markets of Panaji all the way to the beach and the parks. food and service at the hotel are good.
The hotel is on top of a hill, so it is quiet. It is easily accessible to the church , the cruise pier, the shopping area, restaurants, and the french quarter, all within walking distance. At the time of our stay, the pool was under renovation, so if we wanted to swim, the hotel would have to take us to a nearby location with a pool, so we didnot bother. The gym was small but good. The room was river facing, but looked tired. At the time of our stay, it was Diwali, so it was convenient for us to watch the parade.
One of the beautiful location in Panjim....its rocking....its exactly centre point in Panjim all shops restaurants and pubs are very near by....
Rooms are good but old stuff...but views are good...best part of hotel is Children park its amazing...swimming pool is also in very good condition .Staff is very polite and helpful especially Restaurant staff is very good
Food was excellent and tasty...will definitely come again for longer stay..
