We stayed here for 2 nights. The place is located along the main road from Colva. Like most hotels in Goa, you need to hire a scooter at Rs3000 a day to move around. The home has a restaurant for all your meals. Rooms are clean and spacious.
Stayed here for 3weeks.The room was cleaned every other day.Great value for money.Staff did everything to help you to have a lovely stay.Very popular place to stay so book quickly.Twenty minutes walk to the beach.Other places to eat within ten minutes walk.
Best place to stay in Goa! Ask for Charlie - he's the host and a really helpful person!
Everything is close from here. Just rent a scooter and go for a trip. Anywhere you go you'll like it.
Have a good time!
If your looking for peaceful accommodation, with friendly/helpful staff for a good price-look no further!!!!!!!!
Firstly,I was a solo traveller,so booked the 'budget option'-but my room was big, with wardrobe and good size shower room, the bed mattress was OK too. The budget room does not have a balcony, only windows.
The accommodation is approx 40 minutes walk from main part of Cavellossim(restaurants/bars) & 10/15 minute walk from Zalor Beach. The onsite restaurant offers a choice of food throughout the day-there are approx 7 other restaurants within 10 minutes walking distance,a Supermarket is also nearby and a wine shop(limited opening hrs)
The beach at Zalor is superb, very clean and only a handful of people use it. There are beach shacks there, offering food/drink at some of the cheapest prices I found in GOA on the beach.
Charlie, the Manager,is very helpful and will try to help you as much as he can. He can order taxi's /rent scooters etc, nothing is too much trouble for him.
In the foyer, there is a selection of books you can borrow to read and a TV with many channels, incl BBC World News, plus sport&film channels-all in English.
The WiFi is good too for your basic communication needs.
Veeniola offers many types of rooms-basic to A/C etc,I thoroughly enjoyed my 9 nights there and would recommend to all. Scooter hire or being mobile(cycling or walking) is beneficial for your stay. I walked everywhere and did not find it a chore.
