Tranquility in a hectic world Tranquility in a hectic world

Aashyana Lakhanpal gets it right. It's just the perfect balance between comfort and indulgence. We felt at home here, with the added luxury of being cared for and catered to in such a warm and friendly way. The staff here are great -- always so ready to help. The ever present Avinash took care of our meals and more with calm professionalism. A special note, I think, about Ajai whose kind and generous spirit sets the tone for the whole operation. As a result, Aashyana Lakhanpal is an oasis in a hectic world and if anybody has the opportunity to spend some time there -- do it! You will feel restored. P.S. Did I mention the pool, the yoga, the massage, the beach, the car service, the ...?

Living Poetry Living Poetry

There a lot of Hotels and resorts which offer a perfect service like Aashiana. Aahiana gives on top of it the feeling for the poetry of life. it was an experience to be there. When I walked trough the gardens my thoughts stopped running and I felt very intensivly to be present in the very moment. I think that Aashiana more than a hotel is a precious experience.

Nothing in Goa compares to this lovely home away from home Nothing in Goa compares to this lovely home away from home

You get the best of a super luxury hotel - great food attentive service and an amazing site with 2 pools, a lush tropical garden leading directly to the beach with all the comforts of home as this is a residence where the owner displays beautiful art (you feel like a your'e in a private museum), wonderful home cooked fresh food.

A Rare and Elegant place in touch with nature A Rare and Elegant place in touch with nature

by Mukul A on January 15, 2017

We stayed in the twin cottage which happen to be closest to the beach face and one could hear the waves break at night. The cottages were very comfy and tastefully done. Nothing superfluous about the interior as one finds in atypical semi luxury hotel. Instead a lot of gestures like the deep porches, bed facing the lawn (instead of a tv!), lots of cross ventilation, large sliding doors, etc seemed ideal for a beach vacation esp one that brings you right on the beach. concerns of vehicular access, limited food service, seem trivial if one is not looking for a conventional vacation in a urban setting. The staff at this resort seem to imbibe similar values and are extremely polite and helpful. You wouldn't mind their presence even if they hung around your room fixing something. Don't think we even bothered locking our room half the time! Mr. Sethi, the manager was most generous and helpful with changes in our booking,..something we have never experienced in years of travelling across the globe. To sum up it's a great place for families and friends travelling for a beach vacation where they wish to embrace nature.

Wild and Exotic, yet super elegant and stylish! Wild and Exotic, yet super elegant and stylish!

Tucked away behind one of the busiest roads in Goa, Aashyana is an amazingly creative locale. It is unimaginable to find such a large, almost forested piece of land which is purposely under developed to create an aura of luxury amidst the wilderness. We turned off the Candolim road to follow a narrow lane which became too small to let our mid sized car squeeze through. A little apprehensively, we piled out and walked the rest of the way. We turned the latch on the gate, unprepared for what was ahead. The place is designed to be big, bold and different. Nothing is predictable, right from the semi covered bathroom spaces to the fully loaded villas that are all different from each other. There are very few walls and the open lounges and dining spaces feel like the outdoors. The pools are large and well laid out surrounded by tall trees and spacious gardens. The icing on the cake is the platform at the edge of the property which walks out on to the beach. There is a perfect view of the sunset where you could set out a table for a quiet, reflective dinner for two or even to raise a champagne toasting as we did. The staff is unobtrusive but super efficient and you never want for anything. The food is great and homely. I would love to go back and spend a couple of days there.
