i stayed at vivanta taj for 3 days and had a wonderful experience to take back.A wonderful 5 star Taj experience at 3 star rates.cannot get any better.Only negative point is that the hotel is a far way away from the main beaches.The service,the food,the room ...ultimate...not to talk of the Taj pampering which tells u why they r considered the best in the business.

The Stay at the Hotel was Ok.The food and the staff behaviour was also ok.The Hotel was a bit Far away from Airport and Railway station.Hotel recommended for both Family and business travellers.The Overall stay was very good.

I ordered a dosa . A very large triangular lukewarm dosa came with a lukewarm watery sweetish brown liquid that pretended to be sambar . I asked for "podi" .Obviously the cook doesn't know the podi service method . He/she sent a dessert plate with 5 different spices . I asked for ghee or oil and a semi solid bowl of ghee arrived . The food was so bad I didnt order the coffee I would have otherwise had. There was a time when Taj used to do a good South Indian breakfast .They have lost the art . The chutneys were almost passable The South India kitchen needs to be trained at The Gateway in Bangalore .The Karavalli restaurant use to be good .Unless they have lost it as well .

I was supposed to visit the property around New Years. Unfortunately, due to change of plans (family emergency), I had to fly back home. Hotel was gracious to decline any refund citing their policies and charged me for the full stay, even after leaving more then enough time to re-sell the room and pleading that a single night can be charged due to no-show, but charging for the full stay is just preposterous, and nearly close to theft. This hotel is greedy with poor customer service and zero flexibility. If that is the way they look towards a guest just from the outside, I consider myself lucky to not have visited at all. Suggest to other travelers to stay away and take their money elsewhere.

Vivanta by Taj Panjim is located in the heart of the city close to the Mandovi River and the bustling Panjim marketplace. The approach to the hotel is through a narrow bylane with a non description entrance. However, once you enter the hotel, the decor is modern chic and the staff is awesome. The rooms are large and have nice amenities. The hotel has a nice pool on the terrace and possesses a couple of good restaurants.

10/10 in every department. service, food, comfort, location. Staff is very friendly, and courteous, will go out of their way to service you. Will go out of their way to make your stay awesome - Great for family and children. When ordering a movie, they bring you free popcorn/drinks. We left a shirt when we checked out, and they delivered it to family in town after we left for free. Breakfast server, Marvin gave us individual attention, and attended to our every need. Would definitely recommend, and return.

Our stay was wonderful. I went with my wife and son and we were extended all the courtesies. The room was clean and comfortable. The food was great and the staff did everything to provide for my toddler's whims and fantasies. The location was good too with floating casinos and movie theaters nearby. The stay made our trip a memorable one and we will definitely come here again.
