Location of the hotel was well near the beach but that part of the beach did not have any shack. Hotel menu did not have many options. But the property is a good one. Best part was that the hotel had many activities throughout the day like music, games for kids and adults. My kids enjoyed a lot.

the hotel is fantastic. the rooms were big and clean. we had a pool facing room. housekeeping was prompt and helpful. the restaurant staff was super efficient and serves tasty food. there was evening entertainment everyday which was fun. especially Joe the singer was mesmerizing. the resort is close to the beach. i think sequerim beach is the cleanest beach in north goa. infact calangute and baga are crowded and dirty. However the only downside of the hotel is that it holds too many conferences. we were there for 6 days and saw innumerable corporates. these men sit by the pool and just stare. makes a lady uncomfortable. i think the hotel can avoid them and host them in monsoons. otherwise this is amazing

I had a great experience in Whispering Palms. The location is excellent hardly a 2 minute distance from hotel. The room service was excellent and staff also v coorperative. The breakfast was v good and my son and wife also enjoyed a lot. Only dislike about the hotel was looks over crowded when we are at swimming pool location but that cant be solved. Also the street is also very near by. We can hire bike from just opp to hotel main gate. The beach is very nice. Thanx for making my holidays a memorable!!!

We stayed in this hotel for three nights, the hotel is clean, tidy with very friendly staff. The only problem we came across was the sun beds on the beach you have to pay for your sun beds. Ours was a standard room with tired furnishings on the walls. There was no water the first night. The food was great fish curry and rice. The staff are so very helpful. We had a great time. Garden do the best steaks in Candolim. Would go back to Whispering Palms Beach Resort. re was no water the first night. The food was great fish curry and rice. The staff are so very helpful. Room was comfortable, but it was small. Restaurant was very costly. There was a parking problem outside the hotel. Service was not good. It is very close to the beach, the beach was very dirty. But we liked the swimming pool, it was so very clean.Rao

Excellent food in both choices and taste. Ideally placed hotel with beach, shops, restaurants all very close by. Service good. Staff pleasant. Rooms adequate, clean but not modern by British standards.

New year in goa New year in goa

by r3chl on January 14, 2017

We arrived on the 30th Dec in the early hours of the morning after a long journey and wait in the airport. On arrival to the hotel we were greeted with welcome drinks and checked into our rooms quickly. Both rooms overlooked the pool and were clean, comfortable and spacious. Nothing was too much trouble and we were treated to beers and food in the rooms despite the early hour. The food in the restaurant was always plentiful with no real que's for anything due to the intimacy of this hotel. All waiters were pleasant and helpful with the chef making regular appearances to ask if the food was good and if there was anything else we required. New Year's Eve was fab due the hard work of all the hotel staff. Great entertainment where we danced the evening away to European and Indian music with our fellow guests who were both European and Indian. The Buffett was superb with so much choice and the bar staff were never far away with drinks. The firework display at midnight left us in awe and we felt like we had truly seen 2017 in with a bang. With close proximity to the beach the hotel is superbly located with shops and restaurants in close proximity without the need to cross the extremely busy roads. Once back in the hotel it was peaceful with no outside noise. It was our first trip to goa but we would recommend this hotel as we felt it offered great value for money and had a fantastic time here. All staff were pleasant and helpful with no exceptions.

This was our third stay at Whispering Palms over about 8 years. Certainly there have been many improvements regarding facilities, even an on-site spa..!! There is very little to complain about..!! As previously stated - food generally very good but do try eating out as well, many good restaurants close by. The staff are great (so are Goan people in general) and they often go out of there way for you. Very appreciative of small tips as wages in Goa are low. Never saw once incident with rather annoying guests which wasn't dealt with extremely efficiently. The money is a pain due to the Indian Governments recent restrictions. Reception will only change a smallish amount of sterling each week. Rate is 80 rupees to the pound but if you try a high street vendor he will only give you 75..!! Worked out it is cheaper to pay by card whenever you can. Must mention New Years Eve.....amazing buffet with about 20 chefs trying to tempt you with their creations....fantastic. Then a short trip down to the beach at 11.30pm to watch the locals set off their fireworks whilst you paddle in the warm waters of the Arabian Sea...incredible.

Great Resort.... Great Beach Great Resort.... Great Beach

Despite being the peak season (4th to 6th Jan), we received an excellent service. Rooms are good and comfortable, bathrooms are clean. Pool is pretty good and not overcrowded. They have a small kids pool which were enjoyed by my children. Huge varieties for breakfast catering to the need of Indian as well as Foreigners. Dinner was also awesome. The resort is 5 mins walk to candolim beach which is one of the cleanest beach of Goa. Had a memorable time. Looking forward to come next year.

visited this resort during the peak time. the staff was very hospitable and the service was very good and prompt. Its accessibility to the beach was another plus point. I stayed for 4N/5D with my family and we enjoyed the stay. Breakfast buffet was scrumptious and had variety. Good property at reasonable price. The only problem faced during my stay was the wi-fi signal. Despite various signal enhancers/repeaters installed in the resort, the wi-fi signal was very weak and not reachable most of the times.
