I stayed at this hotel overnight. It checked all the right boxes that are basic in a 4-star/5-star stay. Good facilities, friendly and helpful staff, adequately sized, clean and well maintained rooms and a breakfast buffet with a good spread. The south Indian food tasted great. Only one aspect that I felt needs improvement - more options in Indian pure vegetarian food and in the in room dining menu. Most of the bread related items were not eggless - this severely limited my food options.
Just spent 4 nights at the Radisson Blue Greater Noida because I was visiting the fair at Expo Centre.
Everything you need is there but there are opportunities for some improvement to take the hotel from a good one to a great one.
Generally, the staff are friendly and welcoming. The guys in the front bar are terrific, very friendly and ready for a chat or a joke which is nice if you are travelling alone.
The guys on the door are friendly and efficient handling the comings and goings. The desk staff, concierge and duty managers I met were all first class. Even the cleaners were friendly and always asked me if I was happy with the room.
One area for improvement was the breakfast. One morning a rather surly hostess placed me on a dirty table (not the only table available) and I had to ask twice to have the table cleaned - with the language issue, I found it very hard to explain the dirty plates were from the previous customer. I then had to ask for more cutlery and I received one fork. The table should have been cleared wiped and totally reset. The hostess ignored me when tried to catch her attention. Otherwise in the buffet, there was often a shortage of plates below the various stations. Besides this the breakfast offerings were varied and adequate. I always left for work feeling sufficiently fed and ready for the day.
Room service, which I had on two nights was tasty and speedily delivered.
The only other issue is the room. I had a junior suite which, while spacious and comfortable, was not quite perfect. There were small marks on the floor from spillages near the bed, that should have been mopped before my arrival. Also the finishes in the room were getting tired. Curled wallpaper, hand marks and damaged edges were common. You could see water smears on the toilet lid where it wad been wiped, that were there for 4 days. Not dirty, just not cleaned properly. The phone beside the toilet was unplugged - I assume it did not work. If so get it fixed.
The bed was very comfortable and the Aircon was very effective. It actually seemed to work harder when I was away, allowing me to come home to a very cool room. This is quite the opposite to most hotels, where the aircon turns off when you remove your card from the slot to conserve power. Maybe its wired incorrectly?
Finally the minibar was "limited" at best. Also you must provide a bottle opener if your bottles do not unscrew.
These are all little things, but these are exactly the things that prevent a good hotel from being a great hotel.
I will stay there again because of the proximity to the expo grounds.
My wife and I made our first trip to India, mostly for business reasons. We stayed at the Radisson Blu Greater Noida which was near the expo center where our business was, and overall were very pleased with the experience. There is not much to do outside the hotel except for the new indoor Venice Mall which is just a few blocks away, but the hotel itself is a good solid business hotel with clean comfortable rooms, and all the standard amenities you would expect. Check in was a breeze, breakfast which was included had something for everyone, the on site restaurants were good, and the bar lounge was relaxing after a long day. There is a spa on site which highly recommend. We both got a massage the day we arrived to loosen us up after the long flight which was so relaxing, there are many specific massages available and my wife opted for one on one of my work days. Pool really is nothing special, but a place to sit outside and soak up some sun. What we were most impressed by however, was the service of the entire team at the Radisson Blu. Everyone from the gate guard, doorman, servers, cleaners, concierge were mosy friendly and helpful. Everyone always welcomed us with a warm smile and tried their very best to please us. They have drivers available for hire and we were lucky enough to have Vishnu Sharma a delightful man who for 3 days drove us to Agra, Taj Mahal, and all the sites in Dehli, all the while providing us first class friendly service, and answered all the may questions we had. All in all a very nice experience, will definitely return to the Radisson Blu Greater Noida if we are back in that area.
Excellent food quality and nice hospitality, good quality staffs, The place were the hotel is situated is bit dangerous as roaming out at night is risky in near by areas, chances of looting is high in that area, Hotel is safe and best.
Excellent stay at Radisson Blue, Greater Noida. Location is good. My place of work I.e. CAE Simulator is in close proximity. There is a Big Bazaar with a Ciniplex close by. The hotel always sent the transport for drop and pick very promptly. The staff were very helpful and efficient.
