One of the best properties in Gulmarg, Kashmir.
The rooms were fantastic, really loved the view and ambiance .the heated swimming pool was the highlight as my wife and I were swimming next to the snow .the staff was very well trained and courteous . the only drawback was the pillows though were very good but didn't have any cotton pillows which is a must for someone who is having neck problems . will recommend every one to stay and enjoy the BEST HOTEL OF GULMARG.
The Khyber resort Gulmarg is the most beautiful resort in INDIA. Located in Gulmarg, Kashmir it is lead by the most dynamic GM Vinit Chhabra accompanied by Front Officer Manager Manzoor, and the team who are so inspired and motivated, making Khyber Himalayan Spa Resort, among the most amazing resorts that i have visited in India

We stayed at the resort for 2 nights. Excellent hospitality , special mention to MR.owais for upgrading our room despite running full. We had little difficulty co-ordinating the reservations as they didnt return calls quickly . But once we arrived we experienced the best of hospitality, excellent views & 5 star service .
Kashmir trip

Its a very beautiful property with an amazing view..!! Welcoming wd traditional drink..and the lively lobby..!!! And wat all makes it more good, was the staff... very helpful staff..!! The only problem was wd my room bathroom.. pot seat was wobbling..when I called, the staff came and he repaired it. Bt, also informed us that it will again wobble coz its made of wood . Then, flush was broken and again, I had to call the housekeeping, staff came and repaired it. Then, there was some problem wd the bathtub washer,the water we filled was slowly slowly draining out And then, wd the shower area.. hand shower was leaking all the time!!!! We had to called the HK everytime after using the shower..!!! And I won't say the staff didn't help.. they did there best.. however, I was surprised by one of the manager in lobby.. coz , when my husband told him bot the whole senerio, all he said was it is not there mistake its a technical mistake..!! As if we don't know that.. and there was no further help or enquiry from any management behalf!!! U guys really need to work on ur management level staff!!! Atleast some of them...!!
One of the best properties with the most most disappointing service

We stayed at Khyber during the COVID era for the New Years. We had the Himalayan view room for 4 nights. It is one of the best properties with an amazing location. The view from the hotel is to die for. The property has been well maintained as well. A 5 on 5 for the property is a no brainer.
When it comes to service, it was purely disastrous. Overall, to get anything from the front desk, in-room dining to housekeeping, it took a minimum of 2 calls. Nothing was addressed in one go. I understand there might be a shortage of staff due to covid. But thee needs to be some customer empathy. It's the most important thing in this industry. There was zero customer empathy. The staff was least bothered. It was a disappointing experience overall.
A special mention for the new year con. There was no new year gala dinner when I booked. They introduced this later. They were charging a mind-boggling INR 10,000 per person for just food and music. Obviously, I opted out. But what they did was, they shut everything down in the hotel - restaurant, lounge, etc. The only thing available was the in-room dining. This was shocking. It was almost like being held on gun-point to attend the gala dinner for an unreasonable price. A ton of other guests around were pissed about this as well.
Overall, it's a great property which is not run by professional hoteliers. 2 points are purely for the property and the view and it's a 0 for everything else.

Really a great place for couples.Had a wonderful time. Excellent service, cooperative staff, nice rooms. Place well built to add in the beauty of kashmir !! A perfect destination for spending time with your closed ones. Good food. Scenic beauty to the best !! Thanks to Mr Waseem Sultan for excellent service .
