Wanted a get-away which didnt take me far from Delhi and yet was an option which provided me the rest I wanted. So after doing a reasonable amount of research, me and my wife, zeroed in on Ramada Gurgaon Central. Location: Fantastic. Its away from the national highway, so the traffic does not bother you and yet you are just 10 min away from the bustling and famous malls of gurgaon. Rooms: Gives any other 5 star hotels a run for their money. Quietly built with serene interiors and colourful pictures in the room provided an excellent blend. Bathroom: Spick 'n span, absoluely clean, well-stocked, great shower and drainage. They have electronic blinds on a life-size window which is a very subtle yet exciting feature to be added in a bathroom. Experience it! Bar: Did not use. Restaurant: Had buffet meals in the restaurant. The menu were always elaborate. The food was well-prsented with fantastic choice of appetisers and deserts also. The only thing which was not satisfactory was the temperature of the food which was almost always lukewarm. The staff was extremely attentive to your needs otherwise. They were very curtious also. Staff: The staff at valet parkeing, reception and housekeeping were very well-trained. They were especially helpful when I needed a pain-killer. They didnt had the pain-killer so a boy was specially sent to the near-by market to fetch it for us. View from the room: My room had no view. It was facing the other part of another building. But for me, its not really important. Swimming pool: It was still under construction and I was told would be operational by 15th August 2011. Overall: Apart from the temperature of the food, everything else was fantastic. Would love to go again in case I'm convinced that I would not have this grouse in my otherwise perfect stay.

Hotel Rooms are nice, food is good, but service is strictly average. Waiters hardly have any time to serve you when you are at the restaurant (not quite sure why they keep running around)...
