Hotel Sopanam Heritage is just an average hotel. The most disgusting experience was that the hotel does not have credit or debit card facility !! Food service in the restaurant took more than half hour even for an ordinary menu. The reception is so gloomy and the staff are untrained to receive guests. After 9.00 pm they have only a skeleton staff and difficult to reach housekeeping staff and the restaurant staff for room service. Not a good hotel to stay.
Good hotel, decent room for a nights stay. But the hotel is difficult to find because it is off the main road and there are no signs leading up to the hotel.

recently i have stayed in Sopanam heritage for a night. it was a business trip and the check in experience was good even though i reached in the late night. rooms were clean and tidy. Breakfast was good, overall i felt it a good experience.
I had a stay with sopanam heritage ,I opt one Ac room ,the room was on adjacent tower ,spacious room sufficient for a family neat & clean ,very near to private bus stand and 400 mtr away from east nada of temple 15min walking to reach the temple. Need improvement on furniture condition, bath room fittings, television and give more attention on house keeping.
Its just an average hotel at Guruvayur. The service and neatness are just average. The location is very near to the temple. The front office has to improve. No hygienic, just normal. The rooms are too small also.
Pros: - Room was clean and well-maintained, although a little old - Service at the reception was good. We drove down from Bengaluru, and were very tired, they quickly and efficiently allocated rooms - Well behaved and helpful staff - Welcome drink and 2 small bottles of mineral water, on the house - TV had most Malayalam, Tamil, Sports Channels and Cartoon Network - 12PM check-in and check-out times are comfortable to get darshan on both days - Ample parking space - A/C had some issue and stopped working. But it was fixed within 10 minutes of notifying the reception. They followed-up again on the next day morning - Hot water was available in the toilet throughout - Toilet was neat and clean (we stayed in a Regal room) - Big room with 2 huge windows, 2 chairs, one coffee table, bedside table, one cupboard with coat hangers. The milk powder sachets provided was especially helpful for the child with us Cons: - A little far from the temple (when compared to other places like Vishnu Inn, Bhasuri Inn, etc.). But it is easily walkable - Two single cots were joined together to a bigger bed. This was a major let-down. Difficult for a child to sleep in the middle. Would have preferred a single king-size or even a queen-size one - Has a bar and a swimming pool. It is not an inconvenience, just that it is strange for a hotel in Guruvayoor were most visitors are pilgrims
Recommended hotel for stay at Guruvayoor. Liltle far from East Nada, but walkable distance only. Very well mannered staff and excellent service. Cost effective. They had a restaurant in ground floor, maintained decent quality.
