It was delightful experience with this resort. Love to visit again with family. Best part of the resort is you wont feel bore as they have superb activities inside premises. Staffs are polite and humble. Only concern why I cut one star was food. Food need to be improve as its not that good as the resort is.. Still keep it up.. Will visit again
This was a really good choice of resort for its scenic beauty, huge number of activities on offer (great for any kids), large natural jungle accessible at the back by climbing the hill, birdlife, away from main road and mainly rural location. The menu was fantastic. The grounds appear to being improved but where this has been done they are of a very good standard like round the lake. The let down was our accommodation (executive room) which can best be described as functional but was in a block that needs extensive renovation and had all sorts of general broken bedroom furniture stored alongside it on what could have been a nice balcony walkway. Everything in the room worked though. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Overall highly recommended but maybe avoid executive rooms until they have been updated.
I was visiting NE with my base in Guwahati - there was no need to visit this resort as we had many places to visit including Meghalaya & Arunachal Pradesh . I read about this one through google & from my long travelling experience & instincts decided to spend sometime here during my Guwahati stay . My friend & I spent two nights & three days there & left with an unique experience - wish I could stay there for a week ! I have been several times to various cities of USA including Mexico & Hawai , almost entire west Europe , England , Japan , many South East Asian countries besides many parts of India but never in a Jungle Resort so my urge was natural - and it was truly rewarding . This resort never fell short of my expectations - it is foolish to expect a five star service in a totally open & scattered natural environment at a very reasonable rate ! I kept wondering how they were managing to serve so well at several levels as the rooms were located very nicely along the slopes of the hills hidden from one another ! this is not what you get every where - we stayed in executive cottages with a cute balcony & beautiful view with a jungle feel . The room had all the amenities of a good hotel .There were many activities on offer in the resort but who cares for such things when one just wants to enjoy the peaceful jungle view & breathe amidst the bamboo trees . I was bit sick & was overwhelmed the way they cooked my food as per instructions - we tried some Assamese preparations & were all up to the mark - served wherever one wanted - dining room , remote huts/cottages or in the room itself - with lot of warmth & care - the boys were very loving & eager to serve whatever we wanted going out of their ways .
This was one trip which I will cherish forever being so different from my earlier travel experiences . My heartfelt thanks to the owner & his entire team for providing us with such wonderful time & service .
We visited this place on 15/10/17, and to our surprise it was a very pleasant stay with the family, environment was very natural and sceneric view, and there were lots of activities where we had much fun. The receptions were excellent and we got prompt services for whatever we expected. The food quality is excellent but the quantity they provide is too much, we couldn't finish the whole and some got wasted. The staffs are well behaved.
I recommend this place for a family stay.
Hope to visit there once again.
I stay in Kolkata and travelled so far to visit this place with my family for one night.
It was an excellent experience.
Visited the Resort on 9th July with family. It is about 1:130 min drive from Guwahati Airport, located on Guwahati Kaziranga National Highway. From the highway, the resort is about 10 min drive. Reaching on top of the hill where this resort is located gives a real feeling of Jungle Resort. There is security protected place for vehicle parking. The staff is very polite. The Desk Manager Somdev was very helpful and received us very nicely. Rooms are scattered in a big area, some with balcony and there is feeling of midst in nature with complete privacy. Rooms are equipped with most utilities, like tea kettle, AC, LCD TV, etc. But toilet is little damp, may be because the resort is located in a high rainfall region. Inside the resort premises, there is well maintained swimming pool, pond for boating, elephant ride, trekking, shooting games, swans, butterflies which children will like to do. In the day time, the resort is very live, but by the evening is very calm and peaceful. There are number of birds one can watch, besides there is also a small tea garden on the way to highway. Food is okay, but little costlier from city hotels. There is bar inside the resort. Overall, I find this resort to be very convenient and ideal for family or transit visit.
