Was there last week...there was no lift so a service lift with, guess what, no door, was used and a person accompanied me to my assigned room where the key would not work. So there I was, waiting, waiting. The person came back later with another key which didnt work either. Finally a master key arrived and I was let in but the person took away the key saying that I would be allowed to come and go only after requesting the reception who would assign a person to escort me and let me in! Later that night, I waited interminably long to get someone to open the door for me after the man at the reception (there was a duty change) did not recognise me. And so my stay went... I could not summon the service lift for fear that I would plunge into the shaft below given the absence of any door. We had an international guest who was staying in the hotel's suite but did not get hot water. On the day of my check out, I woke up at 5 AM only to find no hot water. Noone at any of the numbers, room service, reception, etc picked up. After a lot of effort finally someone responded and switched on the control switch for hot water (so dont expect it all the time). I had to walk down all the floors each time I needed to go down. Awful. How can the hotel function like this?
