Spent a night at Lily while on a business trip to Guwahati. It's a relatively new hotel and it has a reasonable decor and layout. Front desk staff was courteous. Rooms are spacious and adequately furnished. I was in room 405, which had poor wifi connectivity. Also the room was right next to the staff room and the staff was talking very loudly and singing all throughout the night and in the morning, which was really disturbing Breakfast buffet had a reasonable spread. Overall, an average business hotel in the heart of the city

My extended family and I stayed here for our trip from the USA in January. We also had our wedding reception at this hotel. We had a total of 8-10 guests and stayed for approximately 7 nights. Pros: * The service from the front desk was fantastic. We needed rides for all 8 of us to move around Guwahati and Rupak (front desk) was very accommodating and provided cabs (using ola or Uber) without any difficulty. This saved us a lot of headache with logistics. * The housekeeping staff were very helpful in bringing us whatever little toiletries we needed and did so with enthusiasm. * The breakfast was good and was of Assamese variety. There are two restaurants, of which we tried the karaoke one downstairs and it was delicious. The singer was also very entertaining. * The location was easily accessible and getting to important points within the city was easy. Cons: There are two cons I can list and both may have to do with the infrastructure of the city/state more than the hotel itself. * The first is that the speed of the wifi was slow compared to what we were used to in the US. Again, this was most likely due to how the city's internet infrastructure but it is worth noting * The second is that the water temperate varied throughout the week. While it was never cold it varied from warm to hot but I believe this is also due to Guwahati's infrastructure more than the hotel. Overall, we originally selected this hotel because of its location and the respectful communication and helpfulness of the owner of the hotel. After spending a week there we found the staff to be very helpful, the food delicious and the overall time spent admirable.

Room was extra laaaarge and accommodated 3 of us easily breakfast was sumptuous and a great way to start the day the arrangements at the hotel for our whole group was excellent fekt secure seeing more than three guards at the gate. will surely return back to the same place if travelling again to guwahati

Organized a conference last evening at the hotel. The food was the most horrible I had ever come across. First of all, they diluted the cold drinks with water. Every person in the conference could feel that. This is cheap business. Next, the Paneer for starters was not Paneer but Tofu, which is cheap and tastes horrible. In the main course buffet, the Rice in the pulao was not properly cooked. Rest of the items had absolutely no good taste. On top of that we paid Rs. 1000/person for this terrible food. Cheating in Business is not a good thing. I'll never recommend this place.

Stayed for a 3 days . The Hotel looked nice and luxurious from out side .Facilities are not impressive as it appears . The Room was good. The service was little poor but the staff are very co-operative . Food is just ok and over priced.The breakfast served was cold .All over it is an average hotel to stay.
