Worst hotel ever. Word of Advice: never book this hotel as they don't know how to behave with customers. Pathetic service. Zero respect.
Very less water pressure in the taps. No proper hot water supply. Uncleaned rooms.
Never book this hotel.
Visited this Hotel 2 weeks back with Family and Friends. We checked in by 4pm..The Room service have shifted the entire Baggages to our Rooms without any Delay. The
Rooms were Big,Neat and Clean. Manager Mr.Tiwari was highly cooperative and given Good guidance for our Local visits including Manasa devi Temple Har ki pauri etc. The complimentary Breakfast was of good quality with limited items only. The Moti bazaar is very interesting with lot of items, eateries etc. .Bathing ghats are very near.Enjoyed the Stay very much.
There are many positive things to say about the Alpana, but first I'd like to praise the staff. Manager Mr. Tiwari and full-time desk staffer Ms. Parul are welcoming, warm, kind and very helpful. Mr. Tiwari gave us excellent advice about where to eat, how to get to Kankhal, and various places we should go during our visit to Haridwar. Ms. Parul also took great care to make sure we got everything we needed in a timely fashion.
The hotel is nicely decorated and maintained, and gives off an air of serenity, which is very welcome in busy, noisy Haridwar. All the public rooms are clean, elegant and simple, with plants adding a serene note. There are always glasses of fresh drinking water available in the lobby, a very hospitable touch. You can also get fresh water for your room whenever you want.
Our room was extremely clean, with fluffy white towels and beautiful bed linens. The bathroom was nicely appointed and all the plumbing worked well. There was no odor of sewage in the bathroom, a common problem in so many hotels we've stayed in. The fan worked perfectly and the A/C, which is centralized, was extremely effective. There were also openable windows with screens. The pillows and mattresses were firm and felt pretty new. There was just enough furniture in the room, not too much, and enough space for both of us to do our morning yoga.
I was surprised by the quality of food in the Alpana's restaurant. It was excellent and priced well compared to other restaurants nearby. The soya matar was delicious, and so was the baingan bharta. Chapatis were fresh and soft, and the tea is excellent, always served hot and generously portioned.
The Alpana is right in the midst of one of Haridwar's busiest bazaar, and it's very close to Har Ki Pauri and the famous clock tower. It was very convenient for attending evening aarti and for morning visits to the Ganga. Also convenient for visiting Mansa Devi Mandir.
We enjoyed our five-night visit so much that we are talking about staying again, and for a longer visit. Thanks to the entire staff for a wonderful stay.
Stayed for one night only...nice stay...clean spacious room and bathroom...food is great in taste and portion...only issue is its location...its 8n the middle of the market so have to handpull rickshaw to reach the hotel during market hours...will visit again and recommend others...
hotel location is good.check in ,out takes less than one minute. rooms are excellant.hotel is neat and clean.but we visited on 11-12th august 2018,there was heavy rain.approach road was flooded by six inch .although rainy water goes in ganga but takes on hour.so avoid in august .
