A group of four families with kids as small as 4 years to as big as 21 years had gone to ShravanaBelagola,Belur,Halebid and Mahalakshmi temple on 13,14,15th October 2016. We stayed at Mallige residency and I must say that the hotel rooms were excellent. Bathrooms were clean. The complimentary breakfast was too good and also the attached vegetarian hotel where we had dinner and lunch on one of the days also is very nice.
This hotel is truly more than value for money. The fact that it was 24 hour checkout was an added advantage.
It is a very good hotel located in a nice and clean part of the city. It was my first time in the city so it felt good to find the hotel located in a noise and traffic free neighbourhood with just some shops around the corner.
Id booked two AC standard double bed rooms with the hotel directly and didnt have to pay any advance amount. The room rate included taxes and breakfast. I was a bit sceptical at first but was assured of confirmed booking. I had to stay for only 1 night in the hotel but didnt want to face any hassle of searching for another hotel if this one didnt have our rooms blocked. Fortunately, I made the right decision to book with them. We reached the hotel in the late evening and after a few minutes at the reception checking in, we were on our way to the rooms.
The rooms are big sized with modern bathrooms. Bed is large with comfortable mattress and soft pillows. Room is equipped with a large flat screen TV, mini fridge, electric tea maker, study desk/chair, cupboard, lounge chair and table and reading lights by the bed all lending it a subtle luxury.
Hotel has a restaurant on the same floor as the reception and is quite spacious. We had dinner there and all types of cuisines are on the menu. Food is good and service is nice.
Buffet breakfast was quite impressive too. Served in buffet style at a hall below the reception. There were breads, juices, cereals, choices of egg preparations, South Indian food, fruits and much more. Staff in the restaurant is courteous and plentiful so didnt have to wait to be served anything.
Hotel itself is a relatively attractive building from the outside and has a welcoming feeling. Reception staff is also helpful. There is sufficient parking in the front of the building and also on one of the sides.
I would recommend it highly to anyone traveling on business or leisure whether alone or with family.
I found everything about this hotel top class. The rooms, the service, the food. But most of all, the people. Each and every interaction has been very genuine, heart felt. The location is good - around 2. 5 km from the railway station (INR 40 auto fare). The room we were in, was really clean, and airy, with a lot of sunlight. Bathroom was neat. There was free tea, coffee in the room. I also loved the fact that for a budget hotel they had all the TV channels, even on HD. The complimentary breakfast had dosa, idli, vada, chow-chow bhat, bread, butter, jam, boiled eggs, fruits, tea, coffee, juice. They also have a restaurant "Parijat" where I had rava dosa. That was great too. Food prices are competitive (INR 130 for a north Indian veg thali). The hotel had free Wi-Fi, and a 24-hour check-out system. So when we reached around 8:15 am in the morning, our room was clean and ready. We had to check-out around the same time the next morning. I recommend this place highly. 5/5 for me.
Very neat and clean. The aesthetic and interior of the rooms are tastefully done. Beds are comfortable with clean linens. We stayed in a standard room and the bathroom is very compact, specially the shower cabin. Overall we had a very comfortable stay here.
This is a very compact hotel built on a small piece of land and does not have a campus. Noise of the vehicles on the adjacent road can be heard inside the room. Though the traffic on that road was relatively less when we stayed there. Apart from a restaurant the hotel does not have any other amenities. So choose it if you want to just stay in the room or just sleep in comfort.
The food in restaurant was though hygienic but was not tasty at all. Service in restaurant was also not so good.
We were on a family trip to Shravanabellagola, Bellur and Halebeedu. Hassan is a good place to stay and cover the three tourist sites. We stayed in Mallige residency during this visit and we had a very comfortable and nice stay. The hotel rooms are very well maintained. The linens, the bathrooms are very hygienic and clean. The hotel staff - room service, front desk and also the restaurant staff are very courteous and doing a great job. There is no compromise on quality and its totally value for money. The food at the restaurant serves is decent. The breakfast spread is impressive. They have rooms for your drivers and parking area for the vehicles, wifi in the rooms. In short, I highly recommend this place.
