Good day out with family with kids Good day out with family with kids

by Thivya on January 7, 2018

one day outing is very good here.. Very nice entertainment for kids with so many village based activities... My daughters want to come again Reasonable price too... Highlight is Magic show and Fire show. Food was good not soo great..But it has so many varieties. Surely we will try again.

Nice little village day out place near Bangalore Nice little village day out place near Bangalore

This is a simple village-themed resort just about an hour's drive away from Bangalore. Situated inside a private farmland, this is a membership resort - available for commoners with prior booking. this is not a luxury resort. Cleanliness of the place is average. The place is retained in its rustic charm with mud and stone pathways, thatched-roof huts and natural gardens. One can enjoy activities like bullock-cart ride, astrology, tattoo, pottery, magic shows and so on. They have facilities for outbound corporate events. There is a swimming pool - however that can be availed at an extra cost. Food is completely vegetarian (Jain food) and predominantly local cuisine with simple and limited spreads. Particularly nice getaway for kids who do not enjoy a lot of natural and farm living in city life.

I visited Jain farms in Dec with my family and friends. We had a lovely time .We were impressed with the greenery.Ideal place for a vegetarian family. They offer village activities like pot making, bullock car ride, village fun games mehendi, magic show swimming pool swings,,trampoline, etc.Food was good with variety .Arrangement for elderly people to sit and relax were good. Not good for physically disabled persons. It should be improved by making some cemented path with ramps. So that they can use wheel chair comfortably.Service of staff was awesome.

Great place to hang out with the family. Great place to hang out with the family.

Nice place. Purely vegan food, decent in taste. Nothing to write home about, thought about the food. We ran short on the desserts on both the days we were there. Friendly staff. Rooms are small, but clean and comfortable. Not very high end. Lotsa place to roam around. Pools are cleaned everyday. The place is pet friendly. They have a variety of games, including things like cycling. The walk from the resort to the main road is a pleasant one, long enough to be decently time consuming, short enough not to get you tired. The place and the location itself is phenomenal. Green and clean. An added attraction was the emu enclosure. There is a duck pool. The animals there will keep the kids engaged for quite some time. Seemed like a pretty safe place. Added advantage for the religious types... Chikka Thirupathi is just 15 minutes away by car.

Great Potential, unutilized yet Great Potential, unutilized yet

Hope this review will make the property owners take more good care of this wonderful place Visited with family on our younger son's birthday Shorter route via Sarjapur is bad because of the roads. Longish route via Hosur is much better Had paid advance amount upfront, so when the first interaction at the gate was to ask for full remaining payment before you even said hi/hello to the customer was irritating Hence I insisted on paying the money on the way back as my wallet was packed up in the trunk, though I had it with me. So first of you all you should change the customer interaction methods of your key staff if not all Mind you I am fully fine that they asked for the remaining payment, but the way was not right at all. I don't blame the individual as I clearly see he was advised and instructed to do so. It is a management issue Pros: Resort is really very spacious Has wonderful play area and nice little huts every where with stone bed and a cushion to relax on Kids play area is nice an multiple small play items are strewn around the site so you can spread the crowd than all of them coming to one place at the same time Front office, Toilets, Lunch area, bullock-cart, pottery (great old man with youthful energy taught us how to do a small pot), village games area all nicely done Staff were mostly polite and helpful all the time Food was reasonably good and quantities sufficient on the buffet Lots of space for simply lazing around Lunch is followed by Magic Show, Housie and Fire Dance in that order every day I guess CONS: Definitely not friendly for the differently-abled or the elderly who cannot walk Huge boulder is in the ground and makes the walk way near the front office so during rains it can be very dangerous Kids play area, though is nice the height of some of the activities without good flooring can lead to accidents and even fractures - You need to ensure good soft flooring in the kids play area Not much organized in terms of handling a large crowd as it becomes very basic in terms of activities to engage kids in as most tasks can be completed in about 60 minutes even if you stretch and take time Need to put in a cycle track or two around the property as it is under planned for sure Swimming pool is absolutely not maintained - you need to pay attention and spend quality money on a good cleaning group to keep it nice and tidy - I asked my kids not to play as the water was really looking filthy and if they accidentally drank it or even the contact to skin may be infectious too - Such a nice pool you have but not at all taken care of well All in all despite teh cons, it is still a good day outing place, but can be a great weekend getaway too if they only realize what a wonderful property they have at their disposal

Demo Trip Take the rooms near the pond on the property. There is one enclosure with a swing in it. These are the rooms that are most beauiful.
