It's a Very Nice and Excilent Place to StaY Good Hospitality :) Very Neat Batrooms. And the Food was Very GooD Too. Very Near To the Main Places of Hyderabad. The Staff was very polite and well Behaved and spoke to me Very Nicley as I was not from the City, they even advised me to go to the other Famous places in HyD which very near to the Hotel.
I stayed here for 5 days and really enjoyed myself. The breakfast was one of the best I have ever had, the omelette chef Rajit a true maestro.
The restaurant is also top class and I am a real foodie.
The only reasons I didn't give it 5/5 was
1. the hotel chain policy of instructing staff not to ring taxis for guests and pushing them to use their own car at 5 times the price, (a problem I solved by downloading uber)
2. The attentiveness of the waiters seemed to drop off on the final night, perhaps because I had already filled out their internal review and given them maximum marks. (I ordered a tiramisu and waited over 45 minutes and only on the 2nd prompt did the waiter return to tell me that they didn't have any and the chef either couldn't or didn't have time to make me one
Best rooms ever seen till today, location wise good access to city center, caring staff which includes good service from room service as well, food can be improved to more customized taste, easily approachable from major part of city,
My family and I booked two rooms via Agoda ( well done guys, no issues there). As we were travelling from Melbourne and landing at Hyderabad in the middle of the night, we called ahead to make sure someone will let us check in. They were there and cheerfully checked us in at 12am! Awesome fellows. I gave my credit card, and was shown my room which I shared with my little 9 year old.
Our bodies were running 5.5 hours ahead the current time zone, and so it was breakfast time for us. We called up the 24 hour kitchens and requested hot chocolate. They brought it in 10 minutes later with a complimentary jar of cookies. Big thumbs up! I couldn't resist a hot shower and then crept into bed after making sure my parents next room are comfortable.
We stayed there for four days as I had to extend my planned stay. They did my extension, no problem. Lovely!
Now for the rooms and the actual hotel. A small decent lobby leads to lifts (oddly covered inside with floor to top mirrors). We stayed on the first floor, which was ok. The carpets are a bit shabby and the decor somewhat worn. But the rooms were really really comfortable and large. My bathroom was a pretty darn decent size. Much better size wise than some five stars and a seven star I stayed in the same city earlier. The beds were very comfortable...you got it right folks. No view from my rooms unfortunately. I was in the back side of the hotel. First floor also seems to be the shabbiest of the lot.
The linen was just about passable. No bath robes, no slippers. For the tariff, I would expect at least fluffy towels.
Now the staff!! They were the most polite people I have seen outside of Japan. They were almost embarrassingly polite. Every one of them. Thank you, you made our stay as comfortable as you could.
The hotel had a restaurant downstairs and it was quite popular with the good people of the city. Good food, very expensive though. Or may be the city has developed a new ticker shock system now a days.
They had tons of a la carte items and a regular buffet spread. Decent food , if expensive.
All in all, this is a purely business class hotel. If you want a leisure place, look else where.
But if you need a place to rest the night after moving and shaking the world and making deals all day, this will do.
i would use this place if I had business / work in the area.
Check in: Effortless, no complaints.
Rooms: Absolutely fantastic, I cannot stress this enough. The rooms were perfect considering this was India, I would give 10 stars if there were such a thing.
Spacious and hygienic bathrooms. Iron in room. Only issue is no mirror in room itself to dress up or blow dry hair. Blow dryer is located near kettle, without a mirror.
Restaurant The Orchard: Absolute perfection. Had the buffet, the first night. It was simply food that surpassed my expectations. The starters were generous and perfect. The main meals were varied, and included veg and non veg food. Desserts were awesome, and best part was the rice dessert and the ice cream. Divine. A la carts menu is just as perfect.
Staff: The staff is what makes this hotel the best in the world, in my opinion. I have stayed in other 5star places in Europe, and other places such as Singapore. But at this hotel, the staff go beyond the call of duty. One almost feels embarrassed by the humble service and genuine service, right from the heart.
To name one person, the driver we had for the day, was Chinna. He is the best human being I have encountered in India. Simple. Humble. Trust worthy. Kind. Just not enough words to describe how he took care of us for two days. I would like the hotel to please commend him and if possible, honor him for flying your flag so high.
Honorable staff like Chinna should be cherished. For all future guests, please meet with him, and use him for the day. He is someone that will take care of you like a personal body guard, friend, father, brother and just everything. It's a pity I didn't leave with his number.
Breakfast: Fabulous spread, with just anything one can dream of. I have a gluten allergy and the staff bent over backwards to accommodate me. This made me feel very special. The only negative is that the staff is slow on the coffee and tea serving. One occasion, we waited more than 30 minutes. This may be due to a technical issue with the coffee machine. But in general tea or coffee is slow.
General: Overall a perfect stay equivalent to International standards or even surpassing international standards in terms of service and food quality.
I would recommend this hotel anytime over any other hotel. I felt very sad to leave upon check out.
