Great staying experience. But only one suggestion. Travelguru website mentioned free wifi with room. But when checked in the hotel they mentioned that was old offer and no more valid. So travelguru need to update that.

Hotel was absolutely fine but booking was a real shocker. When I reached the hotel they didn't have any update about my booking . I had to wait more than hour to check in. Hotel requested not to use travelguru as information from them to the hotel very erratic.

Pragati Resorts...Booked cottage for 14th Feb 2013 .Got the cottage number 16, which they keep specially for customers who come through travelguru. I was totally disappointed as soon as entered the cottage. it seems I was in a servant quarter, poor ambience, dirty curtains, no windows, no exhaust fans in the bathroom, though the bathroom is spacious but the wash basin got clogged time and again. Bed was of wood or stone, its fixed, very old telephone instrument, only two chairs were present, got the table after we asked for it, bed sheets and bed cover ok ok, the ceiling of the room was quite low which worsen the atmosphere of the room, it was very congested and suffocating. Now regarding people of Pragati...right from top to bottom all are very courteous, well mannered, helpful and friendly. But the system has lots of loopholes, there is communication gap between different departments. you have to remind them about the facilities or services provided in the package. Food was ok not very tasty but satisfactory. Game zone(indoor and outdoor) and pool activities are very good. fulltu entertaining... Regarding Pragati property, it is vast and full of greenery. It was eye soothing and refreshing. Maintenance reflects the efforts put into by the staff but still more is required.Though the area is big but it is not put to use judiciously. Many activities were not available during our stay. The rejuvinating experience of the sparsh spa inside the Pragati campus was really relaxing, we had 15 minutes foot therapy complimentary in the package. For that, we had to inform the reception person as well as the spa person,we were made to wait for 15 minute before he got the confirmation. After much telephonic inquiry we got the foot massage. no regrets for the wait as the result was completely rejuvenating. At last, please do not be biased with the customers who come through travel sites.

" Not Value for Money"

by yeduvaka on October 18, 2016

Honestly its not a good one to stay. very poor quality of service. Food also just average. Room service and Housekeeping is very very poor. Wifi facility is there for just namesake. No Concierge facility. Poor check in procedure, No transport facility from reception to cottages as the distance is almost 1 km. Located far away from city, getting proper transport service is very difficult.

Its a green resort. Very neat and clean resort. Landscaping was wonderful. Good option for a weekend getaway from hyderabad. It also has space for functions and has a good swimming pool area. Food is decent enough

Went there with limited expectations and was mentally prepared for big misses on several front, especially after reading some on the earlier reviews. Fortunately my experience was fairly good. I had made the booking through third part booking aggregator which offered a better price than rack rate listed on the resort website. Check in was smooth and we were taken to our cottages which were about 200-300m walk from the reception. Rooms were clean, spacious and had the basics in place- refrigerator, TV, coffee/tea pot. Toilets/ wash area was spartan but clean. The resort property was reasonably well maintained, considering the size of the resort. Surely the place had seen better days and some of the water related activities looked dated but the pool generally clean. Other things worth mentioning was magician who gave personalised magic show, (which was pretty good), a potter complete with a colourful potter wheel, where you can try your pottery skills, bullock cart ride and cow shed. The staff managing these were quite friendly and professional. A lounge in the restaurant complex provides good space for seating and on the day when we were there they had a karaoke set up for the guests. We opted for buffet dinner, which was quite OK, nothing to write home about but no complaints either. Breakfast had quite a few choices including live counters for eggs and dosa- overall breakfast quality and choices could be termed as good. The property is quite big, with a lot of places to walk around and explore the trees, birds and nature in general. Good getaway for a weekend. They also offer a guided nature walk, which we did not try. Visitors may note that we visited on Saturday- Sunday and many of the arrangements may not be fully functional during the week- suggest you confirm with the resort to avoid disappointment. The resort offers day visits too- so common areas may get crowded. Surely its not a place the to visit in summers but after monsoon and in winters the experience can be much better.

Don't fit for day outing - pools are quite dirty Don't fit for day outing - pools are quite dirty

Last month we went there for day outing. Toilets and pools are quite dirty not at all fit for the family outing. Greenery part is ok but they maintain the infrastructure very poorly. Location is bit far from the city and road condition is medium after crossing Balaji temple crossing. You need to take exit from "ORR Exit 18" and then continue towards Chilkur.
