No water in the taps. and no ventilation for bathrooms . fungal smell

Had a terrible experience .I had booked room from clear trip.100 Percent payment was done before hand.I Reached hotel at around 9:30 pm with my wife and 5 years kid.The receptionist told he is totally sold out. Tried calling cleartrip.No response as usual ..no action was taken.Basically Linear inn hotel manager defaulted the room booking.I was sent to another third grade hotel of his so called chain.I had to pay 1000 bucks extra.Had no option but to pay as I had my 5 year old kid who was cranky due to long journey.Paid 1000 bucks and settled in this Smoking room provided after extra payment of 1000 INR. MANAGER WAS PATHETIC.Very very rude.Talking as if he did a favour by giving room .Please dont book this room if you are a family.else you will repent .I sincerely feel .Pain and suffering experienced by me shouldnt be experienced by any one else. I paid 1700 for the room for 1 day and the room quality was very much disgusted. The wall putty was coming out from many places and furniture was also broken. Gate was also not of good quality. And worst thing is they let me wait for 20 minutes for allocating this room.
Rooms are clean and staff member's are helpful & familiar....... magnificent view and the best thing is location of hotel which is in heart of the city.........room tarrif suits pocket......and food taste was awesome ....it stills twist my tongue...........cannot forgot ambience as well......surely visit again.
My stay at Hotel Linear Inn had its pros and cons. Pros : Flexible check in/check out times, polite and helpful staff, good room cleaning/turn down, safe, good wi-fi, relatively inexpensive Cons : Poorly functioning door locks, television channels are only in Hindi barring Animax & news channels, hot water has to be requested for from Reception, room walls have extreme dampness and in some cases funus/black mold, showerheads in a poor state, and the hotel's guest policy is strange, and in my opinion can be seen as sexist. Male guests of people staying at this hotel are allowed to enter rooms of the people they are visiting, but female guests are not allowed beyond reception, & have to make do with catching up with said stayers in the in-house restaurant instead. I was given a 20% discount voucher for my next stay at Hotel Linear Inn, but I sincerely doubt I will ever stay here again. If I'm visiting a city for work and would like to catch up with people I know in that city in my hotel room instead of going out, male or female, I should be able to, or at the very least, be given a valid reason not to.
I have booked this hotel through MMT ,with discount .I read the reviews and I decided to book this hotel .As I reached this hotel in the night and the person at the front desk asking a lot of questions because he doesn't know about our booking. Finally I send the invoice on his email ID then he saying sorry sir .after he advise me sir your room is super deluxe which is back side of the second floor which was not good .Room was not cleaned properly and bathroom was not good .Room was little dark .I asked for Mineral water which was complementary as per my booking but staff told me that first bottle was complementary after that I have to pay .I had dinner that was good .there were no tea maker in the room .I asked for tea maker but that was very dirty .For every thing which was included in my booking I have to asked like news papper were complementary which I didn't get during my two night stay. One thing I liked that they served the tea in the morning .During check out I come to know that they only charged for the dinner not for the Mineral water .and also I asked for the bill which was not showing the service tax but the front desk person asking to give service tax .finally I finished with the argument that I would pay 10Rs extra. Breakfast were not good . Overall not good service.
