My Experience comes from the fact that I was staying with an infant and a sick elderly mother. The way the staff handled my needs...taking care of my concerns regarding etc talked about how important their clients are for them. I've rated the rooms average...not coz they are not good...but coz now it needs renovation. 5 years back it was awesome...but a little work is needed now so that it becomes value for money.

An average experience but a homely staff. An average experience but a homely staff.

Firstly, I feel that most of the hotels in Jabalpur throng in business during the wedding seasons and pay more importance on mass bookings or banquet hall bookings or party bookings etc. Hence the logistic backup for a standardized setup for daily residents generally does not exist or is not up to the mark. Secondly, the hotel claims to be a 3 star category but I doubt since the quality and services are not at all commensurate. However, the attitude of the staff is generally very homely and positive, even at places much better than many 5 star category hotels that I have experienced. They may not be having a thing but once asked for, at least they try their best to provide. Thirdly, the hotel with barely one fourth of its occupancy state, was under renovation and rigorous face lifting. Possibly, after completion of the civil works, the hotel will get a better look. Now coming to each point in details. A. The hotel does not has any swimming pool, spa, gym, library, play zone, etc. It has got something called as a business centre that is a small room with one computer. B. The rooms are spacious but lack certain basics, like a safety vault for keeping the valuables, and a tv remote. The day I reached, WiFi was not working but the hotel management was kind enough to promptly provide an internet dongle. Bed is kingsized, soft & cosy with clean bedsheets and quilt cover which are changed daily. Toilets are spacious and generally bigger than many good hotels. Tgry do not have bath tubs. Also the toiletries are simple. They provide a small medimix soap cake and shaving kit, without the shaving gel or cream, unless that is asked for. I had initially faced some problems with regards to hot water supply. The staff appeared to be untrained and not hotel management qualified but their response and warmth was much much better and truly touched my heart. Many of them are working for 10 or more years. C. Restaurant. They have only one restaurant and no buffet system. The choices are very limited. They have a tendency to make rich food but once told and explained, the food comes out real good. Basic things like water melons and chicken sausages as part of breakfast or say prawns for meals could not be made available. And the restaurant needs some facelift. It looks dingy now. Overall, it was an okay stay and I would rate it 5 out of 10 Perhaps during my subsequent visits I expect to have a much better experience.

Everything was perfect, the view, the food, the service! We stayed for three nights and enjoyed every minute. an amazing host making sure we had everything we needed and more. He helped arrange one sightseeing tour and one trekking tour, both with guides taking us to places beyond the tourist trails. He also introduced us to Indian cooking, showing us different recipes and let us try to make chapatis. We will remember this stay and the evenings on the balcony for a long time! Everything was perfect.
