Room was ok. But the Washrooms are relatively very small. Food seems to be just ok. NO DTH avilable, only local cable is available. i heard that this place is a paradise for the non vegetarians but i have not tried it. But yes hotel staff is good. Speed of the internet is very very slow.
Krishna gives an old school feel. However things are pretty decent. Nothing is very lavish, but makes you feel like being in a home room. The balconies have ample space and provide a view of clean and tidy ground. You may find it odd when there is a party in the hotel. Otherways the food is simple and probably the best Jabalpur can offer. Internet lets you do all basic works. Accepts credit/debit cards. Staff if simple and helpful. Krishna is safe especially when you are along with family.
Average hospitality, rooms & food but stay like haveli, economy class hotel, hotel staff is good but need to upgrade the technologies as per the current generation demands. I would like to suggest them pick & drop facility too which was not found there, also renovation of the property
Krishna Hotel is a Good place to stay .The place is well maintained. The food is also very tasty. The best part is its location , close to city center , yet noise free. This hotel is also used for marriage functions and parties .
I went to Jabalpur with my family for a 2-days trip on Christmas eve. Had got this hotel booked on someone's suggestion. The rooms were costly and the concerned person was not ready to reduce the rates at all even after so many requests. Though the rooms we were given were extremely clean and in a great condition. The beds, blankets, sheets, curtains, bathrooms everything was totally new and clean. Full points there. Also, the food of the Restaurant was superb and not too expensive. Plus there was ample space in the hotel and surrounding areas which gave a great feeling. But considering the cost, there was no complimentary breakfast which was a big minus. Also, the room service and other hotel staff constantly used to ask for tips every now and then for small things ordered. We checked in at 4 pm and the same night when we asked for an extra bed at night, the man asked for a "CHAI PAANI" (tip) since he was supposed to be on leave the next day. This inspite of the fact that we had been there for hardly 6 hours. Next day in the restaurant we had Paratha and Tea. After paying the bill and leaving, another two waiters came up and asked for tip. While checking out and waiting for our cab, two more guys carried one bag each and asked for tips. This was the most cheapest thing I have seen. I have been to many places and hotels but have never seen such extreme levels of constant begging for tips. Also, we lost our digital camera while we had gone out in the evening for sight-seeing to Bhedhaghat. Though the hotel manager and other ppl at reception said the same dialogues from Indian movies - "all our staff have been working here since many years. No one is new and we trust them fully". If you have enough patience to handle continuous "Tip please, Tip Please" demands, and are not gonna carry expensive luggage with you, then you can surely check in to this hotel. Else, please look at other safer options.
