Anil from Jabalpur, India recommends this hotel Posted:  Room Quality: 5/5 Service Quality: 5/5 Dining Quality: 5/5 Cleanliness: 5/5

Considering the rates it is the best option in Jabalpur. There is hardly anything to complain. All round very clean, healthy and quite. Except for older types of TV everything was modern and uptodate. Very satisfying experience.

Not the worst place to stay Not the worst place to stay

by srgh93 on December 12, 2015

The most positive about this hotel is its central location: It's easy to access from the train station and other parts of the city. My stay was just okay. I got a dimly lit room. The bathroom was clean, but nothing to separate the shower area and toilet. The bath towels were poor quality and gave off thread when we used them. Though we did get a Goodnight, our night wasn't immune to mosquitos. Oh, and the tv barely works. They have an elevator, but it's an annoying contraption because it isn't easy to get in and out of. It's a budget hotel, but I've seen better budget hotels.

COULDN'T STAY - but read COULDN'T STAY - but read

WE DID NOT STAY HERE but our brief experience is worth reporting. We arrived late afternoon after a long travel day. We'd made several failed attempts to contact Hotel Siddarth in advance but to no avail - all available contact details are out of date. And so we arrived without a reservation. On entering the hotel I simply asked, politely "Do you have any rooms available?" The man behind reception, called Mishal or Mistral, looked up and said curtly "No" and immediately looked down again. So I asked if he would mind if we took a seat in his lobby for while we searched for an alternative on our mobile internet. His answer was a firm and angry "No" as he gestured for us to get out of the hotel. This was, without doubt, the rudest welcome I've had in any hotel anywhere. And I said so, as we exited the hotel. He then called me back in asking "AC or non AC?" !!!! So they did have rooms. But apparently our business wasn't good enough for him. By this point I was visibly angry and he seemed to realise his mistake. He said that we wouldn't find a room in Jabalpur that night. We refused to discuss a room with him and left. The next 3 hotels we visited, predictably, all had a choice of rooms at similar or cheaper prices. Can't comment on the rooms or value. But the brief service we received was truly terrible. In all my years of travelling I've never felt so unwelcome.

Excellent and Friendly Atmosphere to stay. Preferring to stay in future also.......Staff is cooperative . Food is delicious..............KEEP IT UP...!!!!.................... The good parts ... + the biggest plus for me is that it is nearby to all food courts that serves excellent fare at very reasonable prices + the next big plus was staff in the reception. Employees like them are truly an asset to any organization. + reasonably priced unlike other hotels in Jabalpur which charge you 2k for a day but worthless for that price. We stayed in an a/c room and a non a/c room and both were more or less the same. + in the area where the hotels in Jabalpur seem to be concentrated

I stayed here with family in 2 rooms, 1 ac and 1 non-ac for a night. The ac room was slightly better in terms of cleanliness. The good parts ... + the biggest plus for me is that it is nearby a Punjabi dhaba that serves excellent fare at very reasonable prices + the next big plus was Mr.Raju in the reception. Employees like him are truly an asset to any organization. + reasonably priced unlike other hotels in Jabalpur which charge you 2k for a day but worthless for that price. We stayed in an a/c room and a non a/c room and both were more or less the same. + in the area where the hotels in Jabalpur seem to be concentrated - Cleanliness could have been better as we found the furnishings to be dusty. Might be since our room was by the roadside. - the restaurant provides tasty fare but is slightly expensive and the waiter who attended us was rather incompetent - I had booked via cleartrip and since the hotel could not get paid the same day as it was a bank holiday, the hotel wanted me to clear my dues when I checkout. After explaining that they need to wait for a day for cleartrip to pay the hotel and refusing to pay the hotel, they accepted my argument. The unpleasant part was that nobody from cleartrip was reachable. Ive scanned tripadvisor for decent budget hotels in Jabalpur, but nothing seemed convincing. Finally decided on this hotel and its OK for a night or two.

Demo Trip try to get a room farther away from the road, it would probably be less noisy there.

Demo Trip The AC and non AC rooms are practically the same with just the difference of cooler and AC. If you really dont need an AC, go for a non-AC room in case the weather allows to.
