Blessings was an amazing place to stay! I felt more of like a guest than a customer the entire time. They went way above and beyond what is required and expected of a hotel stay. The most memorable part was that my birthday happened to be on one of the days I was staying there. A couple of hours before midnight, I mentioned it in passing to the owners. At 12am, they had a cake for me, sung happy birthday, and even gave me a birthday present! The owner's wife, Girija, especially made me feel like my birthday was spent with family. She was very motherly and, in addition to gifting me with a birthday present, she also offered me the use of her sarees (even one that was 150 years old and sewn with silver string), lenghas, and jewelry for a wedding function I was going to attend. The service as a whole was exquisite from the beginning, Puneet and Kush, the nephew and son of the hotel owner's drove me to get dinner. Puneet even paid for the dinner snack I purchased and then they took me to get ice cream to calm the Indian spiciness The next day I was going to do a bus tour in Jaipur, and Puneet took me on his bike to Birla Mandir, the starting point of the tour and took me around the temple before the tour started. Additionally, Padmesh, the hotel owner, spent a considerable amount of his time helping me compare Agra and Delhi tours, which were the next stops on my trip. He even recommended his sister Meenu's house in Delhi as I had not yet booked a place to stay in Delhi. Meenu had a huge house with an available room and bathroom. While I was at her place, I felt like family. Her son and daughter-in-law (Rahul and Nidhia) took me to the Chandhri Chowk market and helped me bargain. They also bought me a little Taj Mahal souvenir and paid for my entrance to the Red Fort light and sound show. Most spectacular was that the family was going to a wedding the next day. They invited me to attend with them and even lent me a saree, jewelry, and helped me do my make up. Additionally, there's currently an economic crisis in India with the 500 and 1000 rupee notes being taken out of service. Even banks and airports will only exchange up to $50 US. Yet, Meenu's husband, Subodh, was able to exchange $100 US for me without me having to wait in a 5 hour queue! The food in both my Jaipur and Delhi stay was great, and the attention and treatment was extremely distinct to any other hotel I've ever been in. Blessings Bed and Breakfast truly was a blessing from God, surrounded with caring, extremely sweet people. I would definitely stay here again on my next visit to Jaipur.
