We had an amazing stay at Castle Kanota. The hotel is well located, far from the hustle and bustle of the city, just 20 mins drive from the city center. The place itself will make you feel like a rajah. An old palace renovated with taste, in the middle of a park inhabited with several dogs and horses. The rooms are just awesome: huge, high ceilings, greatly decorated...The hosts and all the staff were welcoming and helpful. The food was really tasty. Since we were the only guests, we were really feeling like at home and were even asked several times about our wishes for the next meal. If you want to go around, don't hesitate asking the hotel to arrange a car. The driver was great! Overall, an amazing experience. Only one just regret: 2 days were just too short.
The place is beautiful and quite close to the town, Jaipur. We were a small group of giornalists and photographers and we had a bad surprise as we arrived: there was no wifi. A fake password was given to us, but it never worked, and the staff was apologetic about it. Dinner was great, we were the only guests, but the staff didn't speak English, so the communication was not easy. The shower worked, there was water, but only cold water. The museum is a real gem, and the rooms very nicely decorated and roomy.
Just 25 km from Jaipur airport, Castle is located in a large open space full of gardens and trees and natural beauty. There are horses, Geese, Roosters, squirrels which is lovely to see. You actually wake up to the rooster in the morning. Rooms are large and have all Modern amenities. Castle has its own museum which is one of its kind. There is a small Swimming pool as well. The internet didn't work well, and theres no television. This actually disconnects you from the world, but its actually very peaceful and relaxing.
Just 15 km from Jaipur castle is located in a large open space full of gardens and trees and natural beauty. Rooms are large and have all Morden amenities. Castle Hadith own museum which is one of its kind. Horse riding and village walk are one of the few activities.
We visited the Castle as it was the setting for the Viceroy Club in the Marigold Hotel film. The building is an old Fort, with well tended gardens. We had a very nice lunch there. The food was good, a set Indian meal. The staff were as always in India wonderful. A good atmospheric place for lunch.
