The Hotel Mandakini Castle is more of a Corporate hotel and not a typical 3 or 4 star tourist hotel. The room inspite of being deluxe room did not have mini bar (fridge). The hotel did not have 24 hour hot water system. I had to call everytime and wait for 30 mins to get hot water in the shower. The bathroom cleanliness was bad and I would have expected it to be of better standard and hygiene. I was initially looking at Maharani Palace but I took the advice of Travel guru executive. I suggest Travel Guru should really make an effort to visit all the hotels even before rating them 3 or 4 star facilities on the website. Also I would like to bring to the notice of Travel Guru SMT that the hotel Mandakini palace owner himself told me its a 2 star facility then how can Travel Guru rate this as a 3 star or 4 star? Overall not a pleasing stay at Jaipur Mandakini and poor advice and rating system by Travel Guru.

I think the hotel was extremely over priced. The room sizes were pathetically small.

The Hotel is located next to Hotel Mansingh, a five star Hotel and hence easy to locate. The food served in the room does not come covered. The management has to take-up this issue. Breakfast has limited choice. The receptionists are not in a hurry and take things easily. Never hire taxi or Rickshaw from the hotel staff. They tend to double the fares. Overall good experience for the money you pay.

Rooms are a bit small, but overall the hotel is a good hotel. Value for money.

I was amazed to find the quality of fixutures and furnishing vis a vis tarrif of the room. Other members with me were NRIs who also carried excellent experience of hospitality and care we got from the staff. Every thing went well and we are highly impressed of the services, ambience, cleaniness and every thing in the hotel. Hope the management shall keep it up in future. wish them best.
