Enthralling experience that nobody should miss Enthralling experience that nobody should miss

by Bhavukagrawal on February 22, 2017

Me and my wife went to Lebua to celebrate our 10th Marriage Anniversary, and truly speaking there could not had been a better place to celebrate the special occasion of our life. Since the beginning of my booking query and till our check out, everything was seamless. Team Lebua did not leave any stone unturn to make us feel special. My. Divy Mathur (Sales Head) handled our booking very well and got us a competitive rate. Once he knew that we were booking the hotel to celebrate our 10th Anniversary, he disseminated the information to his entire team. Same was reflected in the arrangements that were made for us. We were greeted warmly at the entry of the resort. Mr. Amitabh (Front Office Manager) personally came and met us and ensured that our stay will be a memorable one. Siddharth quickly got our check in process done. He was extremely polite. We booked their third category room and to our amusement we were complimentary upgraded to their topmost category called Villa. We were so excited to see the room. It was so huge that it can easily accommodate 3 rooms in itself of any five star business hotel. The room was reflecting the grandeur. The room had its private swimming pool with awesome landscaping. Even the bathroom was splendid and huge. After a bit of relaxation, we went for walk and dinner. You definitely need a golf cart to access to different areas of magnificent resort property, which was readily available on one call to reception. In the late evening, we could not see much of the property, and could only enjoy the authentic Rajasthani puppet show. We went to Restaurant directly and could meet Mr. Narendra (Food & Beverage Manager) and could feel the high level of hospitality at the Resort. We ordered from the menu. The service was quick. The staff was professional, courteous and nicely dressed. Dining at Lebua was a great experience. The food was served hot and it was scrumptious. While we were about to finish our dinner, we realized that there was a surprise cake waiting for us from Team Lebua. Wow!!! what a gesture. We were feeling at top of the world. We cut the cake and the staff there helped us to click some photographs to capture our special moments. We requested to meet the Chef Mahendra to personally thank him. He thanked him to make our evening so special. We went back to the room as the regalness of the room was calling us. We relaxed and slept well. In the morning, we called the golf cart to go for the breakfast. The buffet spread was lavish. The breakfast helped us tantalizing our taste buds. We ate over our capacity as we could not resist the food. After finishing the breakfast, we could get the chance to meet Mr. Neelabh Chugh, General Manager of the resort. He was one of the humblest person we have ever met. This could be realized in just few minutes of conversation with him. We thanked him from bottom of our heart to make our experience unforgettable and congratulated him for his leadership and his outstanding team. After breakfast, we took a golf cart to take a round of the property. The resort overlook a beautiful hill which increases the charisma of the place. The gardens, landscapes, Swimming pool were all marvellously done. The scenic beauty of the entire resort completely delighted us. It was time to bid adieu to one of the most luxurious property which was silently inviting us to come again. :) Cheers Bhavuk

Me and senior leaders of the company that I work for were at LeBua for 4 days. We had a great time and learning (leadership course) also because of the locale. The huge gardens provided a great setting for experiential learning and sharing. The food was awesome and so was the service. The property offered a lot of activities which helped burning the calories that one gains due to the tasty food. Fantastic place to play volleyball, cycling and gymming. Overall a satisfying experience. Definitely a resort to come back to.

As a frequent traveller I have stayed in accommodation ranging from hostels to 5* hotels. My stay at Lebua, Jaipur by far has been the worst experience to date. Service: As a 4-5 star hotel one would expect a certain level of service however from the moment we checked in we faced disappointment. Our 17 passports were misplaced with staff claiming to have returned them, they were eventually found in an unlocked drawer in reception. Generally staff never properly listened to requests so on numerous occasions multiple calls / visits had to be made to reception to get what we needed. The hotel lacked the number of staff required to manage such a large resort and had little training in customer service - whilst in the middle of a conversation they would answer other calls and even start dealing with other guests. This all came to a crescendo when we decided to settle our bill the evening prior to checking out - luckily we didn't wait till the following morning as it took the staff from 8pm to 3am to get the bill correct for all 8 rooms we had booked. Never have I experienced a check out process to take 7 hours and this was purely down to the incompetence of the management. The only positive when it came to their staff were the restaurant waiters and guys who drove the golf buggies - they were always on hand even at 3am! Location: In the sticks. 45mins drive to city center. Uber generally take 20-30mins to reach you and it's very difficult to get a taxi to bring you back to the hotel. Rooms: Whilst they were very spacious they were dark and didn't look to have been renovated for decades, with stained toilet seats and bad smelling sink drains. The pigeon infestation also meant balconies couldn't be fully utilised and just left a feeling of uncleanliness. During our stay we faced a lack of hot water with dripping showers, the safe didn't work, the telephone frequently cut out, plug sockets didn't work, hairdryer didn't work, kettle didn't work. The extra bed which they wanted to charge us for consisted of a metal frame with a piece of cardboard to support the dirty mattress. Due to the lack of irons we sent clothes for dry cleaning and on one occasion a shirt was returned wet and crumpled in a carrier bag! Restaurants: Very average food and overpriced. Pizza ovens were not working throughout our stay. Pool / Spa: Probably the best part of the hotel, but even so many facilities in the spa didn't work. All I can advice is to AVOID at all costs.

Avoid! Avoid!

Writing this review brings back terrible memories! This was by far the worst "hotel" I have ever stayed at. It should not be described as a hotel as it was more like a prison ground! The rooms were filthy, dark and lacked any amenities. The toilet were disgusting and the sinks had a nasty sewage smell. There was limited hot water and the shower barely worked. We had to keep our passports and jewellery locked in our suitcases as our safe was not working. We informed reception staff that it needed to be repaired and it took them 2 days to send someone. The wifi would not connect and the hotel kept having to reboot their system to rectify. This fix would last all of a hour before connection was lost again. The room phone had so much interference and eventually stopped working. To top it all off we were surrounded by noisy pigeons which had us up from early hours in the morning. We were unable to step out onto the balcony as it was full of pigeon droppings. I do not think it had ever been cleaned. The service was terrible and the staff extremely unhelpful. I would strongly advise anyone going to Jaipur to avoid staying at this hotel.
