Room: I stayed for 4 nights in a standard room and found it to be spacious and clean. The shower was excellent. After 3 weeks of not having a shower that worked properly, it was heaven to arrive here. The TV is excellent as well with a very good selection of channels. (especially if you want to watch constant re-run highlights of India beating England in cricket) Service: I turned up at 5:30am after taking the overnight train from Jaisalmer and am fairly sure I got the owner out of bed. I wasn't expecting the train to run on time so had said I would arrive around 10:00am. However he still greeted me with a smile and said no problem when I apologised several times. Location: The location is fairly quiet. I slept solidly for the entire time I was there. It isn't within walking distance of anything of interest but finding a tuk tuk isn't a problem and it is only about 10 minutes into the old city. Property: The best thing about this hotel is the garden. It is a great place to chill out and unwind after a busy day of sightseeing. I was able to strike up conversation with several other travellers here. The restaurant will also serve you in the garden. I would have no problem staying here again for business or personal travel.
We loved our stay here. The staff were fantastic, intuitive and very helpful and accommodating, especially our friend on the welcome desk. The whole place is a calm escape from the city, which you can hear a little still, but relatively quiet. The building is beautifully decorated with hand painted details on all the walls, antique furniture and chandeliers. The restaurant is good and the pool looks beautiful, though it was too cold when we stayed to try it. I would recommend as a comfortable hotel (the beds are a little hard, but still comfortable) and would go back.
This hotel is very nice, which is helped by being in a quiet yet central neighborhood. The staff were all very helpful, and the standards of cleanliness were high. They arranged for transportation for us from the train station, and the driver ended up being an excellent tour guide around Jaipur (name Rashid).
this is a good traditional hotel , the location is good for visiting the various attractions in jaipur , the rooms are clean ,breakfast is served in a nice enclosed garden and there is also an indoor restaraunt which serves good food ,both upper floors have a small courtyard area where you can chill out with a book , the staff were very helpful especially during the recent rupee shortage
What a lovely hotel. Rooms were very clean and roomy. Bed was very hard, which I do not mind. However, I am a very small person and the bed was very high, a foot stool or ladder would have helped me get in. Breakfast was the only negative. Choice was very limited and additionally some of the choices were not healthy, high fat, low fibre. However, breakfast was served in the delightful gardens. It was hard to believe that I was in one of the world's most populous countries. Manager was very helpful on checkout, photocopied our passports to assist in our changing our demoneytised rupees into the legal currency at the bank
