Called at Narain Niwas hoping for some lunch. We asked to eat in the garden and were taken to a shambolic scene with dirty tables. The garden, by other standards of hotels we have visited, was not very attractive. We decided to eat on the front terrace instead. We couldn't even get a large Kingfisher beer as they had apparently run out. When presented with the lunch option, which was dire, we opted for chips. ( Says it all)! Chips were okay and pleasant enough old guy served us. The ladies toilets were disgusting. No toilet paper in 2 out of 3 loos, barely any soap and one paper towel left. The property is in desperate need of attention. It smacks of management who are trading on a previous reputation and need to up their game by a lot of notches. If I had been staying there I would have been desperate to go elsewhere.
