Access The Hotel is very near to the Jaipur Railway station and me and my wife could reach the Hotel in 5 minutes. Parking: The Hotel has no covered parking but has space to park about six cars, just in front of its entrance that it is absolutely safe. Location: The hotel is in a very convenient location C Scheme. Hawa MAhal and Amer Fort is also not very far. As the hotel is on the road it has easy access to nearby Malls and easy facilities. After the warm welcome I was glad to know that the room was upgraded to higher level. We Spend the afternoon relaxing in the Garden. The beautiful looks of the Hotel were so attractive we could not resist taking some pics. The Front desk: The staff was reasonably helpful and we were pampered well. We could imagine how the Raja Saheb would have lived there. The Room: The Room was equipped with good gadgets like Blowers and ACs . Bathrooms were excellent with Bathtub and other general equipments. We were glad to see a Horse POLO match in the Hotel Premesis which had a glorified aura. Food & Room Service: We did not order anything except the included Breakfast. It was good to have a good start of a wonderful day. We were happy to see some couples like us. Overall: On the whole, it is a good option for the traveller looking to stay in a Palace rather than a Hotel.

A beautiful palace with an incredible history A beautiful palace with an incredible history

by Odile T on January 10, 2017

My husband and I stayed at all 4 Sujan properties in Rajasthan. Each of The Sujan properties provided impeccably attentive and personal service, and the Rajmahal Palace was no exception. The palace is beautifully and luxuriously decorated, you feel as though you have been transported into another time in history. Our room was luxurious and comfortable. Tea time starts at 4:30pm and it is just delightful to have it in the garden grounds. Please note that if you are venturing outside your hotel without your driver, specify to the hotel if you want a car service or a taxi. If you don't they order a car service, whose price will rival prices in North America (seriously!). Uber is not reliable in Jaipur we had a really hard time getting back to the hotel, its almost not worth leaving.

Nice try but it really isn't as slick as it should be Nice try but it really isn't as slick as it should be

Wonderful staff and manager running this hotel which is in a nice setting with large grounds although parallel to the main railway lines.... When we arrived we almost left immediately. It is an expensive hotel, recently renovated but our huge room had almost no storage space and absolutely no windows whatsoever - an internal space which is quite disgusting really. Having paid in advance, which is normal practice in India, we were trapped there & really pulled down in spirit on arrival having looked forward to returning to Jaipur again. We saw two other suites - neither had storage appropriate for two guests and external windows are in short supply in many of the rooms. The designer's reputation is promoted as being aspirational and all I want to do is compliment him on building the worst hotel of our trip. No sockets where you need them (nor modern ones you now expect in India), no light switches near the beds - in a new renovation that isn't luxury. Breakfasts and dinners were very good although with hardly any Indian food on offer in the evenings. I repeat that the staff were all very, very nice and professional, but brave to work in such a poorly-designed building. We spent all day, every day, away from the hotel in other parts of Jaipur.

Expensive but good Expensive but good

Other day my daughter and Grand Daughter were visiting us from Singapore and I took them to this lively property for lunch , The pink warmth of noon and lovely settings of Restaurents in covered verandah , adjoining sprawling lawns created a great setting. The food we ordered was superbly tasty and served very warm deserts were also eclectic . Over all a great place though expensive.

Great hotel, restaurant and service Great hotel, restaurant and service

The service is impeccable, Food is splendid and the ambience is wonderful. Absolutely fantastic experience. I have to say again, the service is outstanding. It is hard to go above traditional Rajasthani hospitality but this place takes service to a new height.

Great building Great building

The grounds and rooms are stunning with amazing character so you feel like a maharajah The only reason we gave rating of average was the Christmas Eve diner. We have often been away on Christmas Eve and always find hotels try too hard. Here was the same sorry to say. 7 courses and no option and not cheap Took almost hour and a half for first two courses. Turkey course was then cold as was plum pudding Such a shame as amazing place and outside Xmas eve sure it's great.

Demo Trip I think they just get more magnificent the more you pay. Even the smaller rooms are going to be 4 posters or have some unique magnificence.
