The summer package from REd Fox (two days off on four day stay) is the best value in Jaipur. The breakfast buffet and service in cafe is excellent. This time I had problem with the shower in my room. It occured to me that room being on second floor, water pressure may be low. I also had security concerns as twice on the penultimate day of my stay I returned to my room, once from breakfast and secondly from pantry to find the door open. I dont leave my doors open since I travel alone and had a very creepy feeling. I had a similar experience last year when I entered my room after breakfast to find the housekeeping staff sitting on chair and chatting. I complained to management and was reassurred. I ahve stayed in other branded budget hotels like ginger and formule 1 but never has housekeeoing entered my room without permission. I think the locks are also flimsy as they are not electronic. The same day one of the security personnel picked tried to sell me a deal to et my car washed, without any prompting from me whatsoever. His name was Gurdeep Singh and I complained to reception. OVerall I feel that staff are not trained well enough.

Hotel location is good but room is avg. inside. No toiletry kits provided in room. it's cost extra ( except shop,shampoo dispenser ) Room cleaning is avg. I have experienced 1 bed thing At the time of check-in at room I found west food plate of previous guest at door opening area and at the time of check out same was their after 24 hrs. due to marraige season hotel was full and hotel staff was under pressure of service. Otherwise hotel is good for short stay with compare to room tariff.

Its a good option if you are on a business trip and don't want to waste time in traffic. Located 10 mins from the airport its a good option. The rooms are spacious but could be maintained better. Staff is courteous. The buffet doesn't have much variety and ala carte will take forever to prepare!

What works - the place is located araounf 5 Kms from thr airport opposite the MNIT... the rooms are big and reasonable clean... the toilets and the linen are also clean...there is ample parking in the hotel.. the staff is helpful and well trained.... What does not work - this is budget feel hotel and rooms have no add ons... they are basic although clean...

I stayed with red fox hotel jaipur during medical conference and i found hotel was so clean an tidy check-in was fast and staff was so supportive special thanks to Mr. Abhishek Mathur and Mr. Chirag and all front office staff.

We booked two rooms for an overnight business trip--one night, three people. We arrived and were told we only had one room, which could not work. We showed our voucher to the front desk person, which was crowded and only had one person who could check us in. The voucher clearly stated 2 rooms, which were paid for in advance. The man relented, took our voucher, copied our passports, and gave us two room keys. We found the rooms quite adequate for the price we paid, and we rested well. The next morning we had an early start, so we went to check out. We were told that we had to pay for our "extra room." We asked to speak to the manager, but he was unavailable. For over 30 minutes, they refused to show us the paperwork they had on file, and assumed that our traveling companion could not speak Hindi (a mistake on their part) as they talked about us trying to get out of paying. Finally, after getting in touch with the person who did the booking and pointing out that we had paid the total for 2 rooms, they said, "it is fine, you can go." We were late getting to our appointment. So, the Red Fox will be off our list, and that of the business we deal with, in Jaipur and elsewhere. We will find a hotel chain that will be more efficient in its business.
