Savista is a private countryhouse and is still under construction, with bushy growth all around. It is 30 km outside city with no proper road access. The place runs solely on gensets which are shut off at night making it extremely dangerous in case of emergency. Room is badly furnished, no room service, not even a calling bell for any need. There's no dining options, only fixed menu sparse breakfast dinner served in a hostel type dining room at the far end of the place. I would strongly advise against choosing this hotel.

The nature and enviroment near the hotel is very nice. Rooms were decent with very good interiors. The food was very good in taste and the service was very quick and prompt of the staffs. It is highly recommedable.

Peaceful retreat away from the hustle Peaceful retreat away from the hustle

by Josh T on January 19, 2018

Great, tranquil spot outside of Jaipur. The owners were great hosts and very welcoming to us, but not overbearing. The place is beautiful. Immaculately clean, very well maintained, nicely designed and very comfortable. If you're looking for a convenient hotel to explore Jaipur, this is probably not the place, as it's a good trek outside the city. But if you're looking for a mellow place to get some R and R, see a bit more what rural life is like in India, or just sit by the pool and read a book, this is a great spot. We wish we had had more time on our trip. If so, we would have stayed more than one day.

Welcome [and fun!] respite from the city Welcome [and fun!] respite from the city

My friend and I came to Savista after a couple of busy, loud sightseeing days in Jaipur. We had found Savista online, and we were looking forward to a more quiet, spa-like environment. Radhika and Bhanwar are consummate hosts. They were present, attentive, and went above and beyond to make our stay restorative, fun, and authentic. They've turned this restoration project for the ages into an incredibly peaceful, restorative place with a happy and hospitable staff. Radhika was incredibly accommodating of our dietary restrictions, making sure that each day everything was prepared to our needs and liking. She also led us through the most fun and invigorating yoga session, including introducing us to laughing yoga something I had never done and which truly had us in stitches. We went on a camel cart ride through a local village and surrounding fields, relaxed around the pool, went for a walk in the nearby countryside, and overall left Savista feeling incredibly restored and at peace. Make sure you have a warm sweater for the evenings, it gets chilly. There is a swimming pool, though it's not heated, though it's nice to dip your toes into when the daytime sun is quite hot. They have a revolving library, where guests can add/take books for their journey, and a projector with tons of movies for an after dinner activity. Thank you, Radhika and Bhanwarwe hope to see you again soon!

... it's here where you find rest and peace after hectic weeks. The lovely place outside the doors of Jaipur is special. White, clean, pure non of the usual Indian hotel machinery. Gustes first ... no doubt. The rooms are lovely and the garden with the sounds of the birds just susm up to a great experience. Staff is very friendly, they run on their own pace ... with a smile on their face.

A place for rest and relaxation A place for rest and relaxation

This estate is simply charming, delightful and quaint. Savista reflects the philosophy of its lovely owners. They made Savista a retreat for everyone who is interested in experiencing rural Rajasthani life, relaxing, eating healthy pesticide free vegetarian food grown on the premises or in the local villages, enjoying the peace of the beautiful gardens and watching the amazing birdlife. Savista offers very cosy and well equipped rooms, a fresh water swimming pool (without chemicals) using water from its own well, fantastic yoga lessons with the owner, organised sightseeing trips and most importantly the feeling that guests are part of the family and being looked after very well. We loved the cheerful smiles and friendliness of the staff. Savista is definitely the place to be for people who are open minded for this philosophy which makes this secluded hotel so different from the main stream accommodation in India. We could highly recommend Savista Retreat.

Amazing place to stay Amazing place to stay

We spent 4 nights at Savista just last week. It was wonderful. We had already visited Delhi and Agra and had a hectic time sightseeing, it was wonderful to arrive in such a peaceful place. Radhika met us and spent quite some time talking with us, she is such a lovely person and so calm. I hadn't been well and she instantly put me at ease about the wonderful food at Savista. The accommodation is located about half an hour out of the centre of Jaipur, it is so peaceful after being on the busy roads in the city. It is a great place to relax and unwind. The food is delicious, we ate our evening mela there every night and tried different vegetarian Indian food which was all delicious. On our last day we enjoyed a camel cart ride in the countryside around Savista and we had a cooking demonstration which was really interesting. Bhanwar and Radhika are such lovely people, it was a pleasure to meet them both and spend time at their wonderful property.
