Our second visit here - the luxury oozes out and so impressive to look at. We arrived on Womens day to the rose petal welcome, also our wedding anniversary, and went to a special cocktail party where we met senior management staff who were delightful. We were treated like royalty- roses, chocolates & cake x 2!! - and they really welcomed us back. We had two days here enjoying Jaipur and the hotel, with its peacocks and peacefulness away from the bustle outside. The chef and his team couldn't do enough for my friend who had a dietary issue - possibly the best food she's had anywhere - and we didn't need to keep reminding them they just knew. The waiting staff at the Veranda restaurant were great, also good to see the management staff around the hotel during the day or at meal times
We had a palace room again which was huge - need a ball of string to find your way around!!!! beautifully furnished with everything one needs
A hotel to remember -Definitely a must go place
Our welcome with a shower of rose petals was heartwarming.M/s Screya Mukherjee the excellent Butler offered us an upgrade to the Peacock Suite complete with our own terrace overlooking the garden with Peacocks.(How did she know we were celebrating our 45th Ann.!! A complementary bottle of excellent Red Wine.A romantic candle lit dinner on the terrace with fresh floral arrangements and a cake.M/s Mukherjee's attention to detail and personal attention of the Chef and staff was amazing
Haven't actually stayed at the hotel. Would have loved to, but the car services I've arranged with has pre-booked me in another hotel. I was astound by the beauty of Rambagh Palace even before I see it in person. I have a friend who went here and her photos of the hotel on Instagram were just extraordinary. So, I told myself, I wouldn't miss the chance of going here. I tried calling several times for reservations but I was just put on hold. The guy I speak with over the phone (forgot his name, from Reception told me to just come over and no need to reserve. So after a visit to the City Palace, I went straight to Rambagh, exhausted and very very hungry. I was immediately assisted to the Verandah Cafe. The view was just epic. I was seated outside, which is a great way to enjoy the good weather and breath the fresh air of Jaipur as I indulge with Indian food. Well, not all Indian, the restaurant serves a mixture of International food. For starters, I ordered Salad Caprese, which looked really appetizing as shown in my photo. For the main course, I've chosen Chicken Curry paired with Cheese Naan. Of course, wouldn't miss the chance of eating curry. And for the drinks, a glass of Granatini. I spent the afternoon devouring the sumptuous meal they've prepared for me. After lunch, I had the privelege of walking around the courtyards of the palace turned into hotel. It was really beautiful. After my visit, I've learned (well, someone actually told me) that there's a book written entitled A Princess Remembers: The Memoirs of the Maharani of Jaipur by Gayatri Devi. The setting of the book was at this palace. I've already ordered the book online and is currently being shipped to me. I'm excited to read the book and learn about the tales and secrets of the corners of the palace. How it used to be back in the days. Overall, my experience was definitely great. I highly recommend this place to my friends. And hopefully, when I return to Jaipur, I get to stay in their luxurious rooms.
The overall experience of the palace was quite outstanding and made one feel royal. Right from the arrival experience of a shower of rose petals to the sprawling lawns with peacocks walking besides you, it made us feel royal
A luxury hotel which makes you feel at home. The hospitality is fantastic, staff very warm. The welcome is very royal with showering of rose petals and nice, fragrant jasmine garlands. the huge gardens with the peacocks dancing around is a lovely sight. The dining hall hosts Anand and Brijendrasingh make sure that you have tasted every single thing on the menu. A dinner at the Suvarna Mahal is a must. The horse carriage ride is fun. A must visit place. All the staff members are extremely polite, friendly and very helpful. A great place to relax and rejuvenate.
