Good adventure place Good adventure place

There are a lot of people offering adventure trips in sam but we found the price of this camp reasonable and also the people at the front desk was very comforting ,their adventure starts with a jeep safari in the dunes which is worth taking and shelling money on that and then the camel ride in the thar desert ,I would suggest you to take a camel cart ride because that is even more thrilling apart from that the camp organises traditional performances along with snacks and then followed by dinner and dj.

The Best Desert Camping experience. The Best Desert Camping experience.

Mehar's Camp is really fantastic. They have unique cultural programs. Their lead Rajasthani dancer easily steals the show. Dinner is good. Chai and evening snacks are good. What we liked is the camp and their cultural programs.

An average camp stay An average camp stay

We have stayed in Mehar Adventure Safari Camp for one night. It was not excellent but an average stay. We have checked in around 2:00 PM. Even if it was winter there was scorching heat in the afternoon. No fans are provided in the tent. No room service at least a water jug and glasses were provided in the tent. In the morning it was cold but just a little warm (not hot) water is provided in the bathroom by which you can't bath. No napkins, towels or soaps are provided. For snacks - tea and pakodas were provided. For Dinner - rice-dal, roti, kheer, potato subji, papad, dal-baati, churma were provided. For Breakfast - Poha, Puri Subji and Bread Jam were provided. All food was in good quantity but not very tasty. It is must to mention and appreciate that cultural program (folk songs/dance) was very good. I was expecting dark night sky view full of stars and soft moonlight but unfortunately electric lights were glowing all over the night. Camel ride was complimentary and arranged by camp. We were taken for a ride on the next morning which was around 20 minutes.

Myself along with my family stayed at the Meher Adventure Safari Camp in Dec 2016. Our stay at the camp was extremely good. All the arrangements made about accommodation, food, cultural programmes were outstanding and we really enjoyed staying at the camp. Thanks a lot to Mr Akram and Mr Asif. Vijay

I visited mehar adventure safari camp during 12th November 2016 to 14th November, 2016 alongwith 60 pesons. All swiss camps are equipped with daily needs. They provided us hygienic and cleaned beds, washrooms, etc. Their staff are very cooperative. Moreover, the owner of the Camp shri Akram and his brother asif ji, both are very humble and polite and attentive to demands raised from time to time. They made us our journey memorable.

Demo Trip If you are travelling with kids, its better to take cottage.

by Sunil117 on January 17, 2016

Demo Trip Go for cottages if you go during peak winters. Tents were also spacious though but colder. View from the camp is awesome from every place.
