The hotel is been located at center of Jammu, making it accessible from all the location. Rooms are so big here and additionally they have provided me with the Room heater so that i dint face any issue. Even proper arrangements been made that i can adjust with the cold there, the hospitality service is also good. Even the variety of food they provide is best, the best part is the Rice & Rajma, which is a famous dish at Jammu, they prepared it so well, i have never eat it before. Overall the experience was so good, will for sure again come back there.
Weird Place. I stayed here, because unluckily no other reasonable place was available. TO begin with, I didn't feel safe. The room doors were slightly above the ground (leaving the place for a rat to crawl in), Room service was good, but food was bad!! The place looks average (more towards cheap).
As such, there's nothing bad that I could particularly pin point about this place, because everything falls in the category of 'Average'. Location, not bad. Staff, not bad. Rooms, so big and spacious that you could use it as a mini cricket pitch. The breakfast however was VERY bad. Half cooked and half inch thick poori or parantha served with oily bhaji. I did not have lunch and dinner at this place, thanks to the local rehriwalas in proximity. There's also a CCD just opposite to the hotel and a Dominos almost ready for inauguration. I had to choose this hotel since I was there for work and this was the nearest hotel available within the budget.
The Hotel is very near to Railway station; but, its not worth a stay as it is very far away from City market. Stay wise its very good. Food and location is not so good. As there are very few autos in Jammu one may face a trouble of finding conveyance to nearby market. Hunting for food will kill your energy.
The problem is not with the rooms, the problem is not with the bathrooms.......the problem is also not with the TV with poor picture quality........but the problem is with the attitude of the people managing it. For instance, I lost my room key while taking dinner in the hotel restaurant and all efforts to find it were of no avail and loosing it remained a mystery as I did not go anywhere except from my room to the Restaurant and back. But the biggest surprise came when the people managing it told that there is no duplicate or master key available until next day 10 am......11 hrs from the time it was reported. On insistence to help me out, the room was then opened from inside by a boy sent by hotel management through the window ac opening!!!!!!! The food in the restaurant at 2nd floor is good but the linen on the tables was so dirty that one would not like to sit and eat there. The breakfast in the morning has very limited options and you have to order 20 min advance in your room only. The intercom supplied normally dials only 9 for the reception and contacting other friends in other room may not be possible. The towel supplied in the room do not give fresh look......better have your own. The geyser in the bathroom takes time to heat up water so switch it on well in time. The blanket given in the room does not have a white sheet under it and you would have to convince the manager to take it. Your good luck if it is supplied! The check out was pretty unpleasant as the receptionist tried to belittle us as we lost the room key!
