We stayed in Hotel Kirti for a night during our trip to National Marine Park, Narara. As it is a weekend, almost all hotels in Jamnagar were full and we left with very few options. We found this hotel on tripadvisor and opted for this as we do not have any other choice. To our surprise, the property is very good and located in a busy location i.e. teen patti, opp. Anupam Talkies. The rooms are well maintained and equipped with all basic amenities like AC, TV, Hot water, Newspaper, etc. The rooms are spacious and every floor has common utility area. The room service was good and the staff are polite. The flip side of this hotel is.. it is located on the 2nd floor of a commercial building and do not have parking space. You need to park your vehicle on the main road.
Avoid this one. There are other hotels around. My experience in staying in this hotel is pathetic. Location wise it's perfect. It's just 5 min away from railway station. I travelled with my wife & 1 year kid. I paid for entire 2 days in advance (though i stated from 17th 11 PM to 18th 11 PM) though, we've receives worst services ever. On reaching at the hotel at 11 PM we discovered, the front desk person wasn't having any information that we have any booking in the hotel. Though I had conversation over phone with the manager twice and he ensured that my room is booked. Ultimately, the front desk person gave a room, which I doubt it was deluxe. The 2nd thing he did in the room is he climbed on the sofa to switch on the AC (room-109). On asking, he simply replied, only 1st time you need to climb to switch on this (On the 2nd day I couldn't find anyone & apparently I had to climb). Washroom wasn't locking from inside & window glass was broken. Since, there were nothing behind, we didn't face any problem. We had to ask for another towel. This hotel is having immature hotel stuff from 20-25 age. And they don't have any manners. Everytime, they were pushing doors, after pressing the bell. If you forget to lock the door from inside, there will be privacy issues as they are least bother to wait outside. The room was small and bad odor was coming out. It wasn't clean since months i think. Next day morning (Rakshabandhan), I found out that there's no water in washroom. They weren't receiving calls. After some time they came with only 2 buckets of water, saying problem in pump. On request, they provided another 4 buckets of water (though they weren't happy by face). Food quality is good & price is also not high. Now there was another pathetic situation waiting for us. We came back by 3 PM. There was a guy on his 50s at the reception who simply said, no food is available. And he behaved very rude with wrong gestures. They didn't provide any information in the morning that food services won't be available as there's Rakhi festival. We could have managed from outside, if they informed us earlier. And that chap's behaviour really shocked us. The manager over phone, simply instructed me for another hotel with anger on his voice. My 1 year kid was sleeping on my arm. And the guy didn't come with any solution, rather irritated us in all spheres with his all wrong gestures. that's it. We had to spend another couple of hours. And even there were no one to carry our luggage at 11 PM. Their lift was blocked with cooking utensils for next day's party in the hotel. I had to carry all my luggage up to lift & there were 3/4 person at front desk, busy in gossiping. At last, the hotel manager came up (when he understood all these with us) to carry luggage from lift (just for 2-3 steps). Please avoid this hotel. Not a good one for couples & small family like us. Don't spoil your mood by staying in this hotel.
Hotel should be more customer centric though hotel is clean but over expensive for regular customers and staff should be more trained to deal with customers.hotel has no restaurant but they do provide food on order basis which is so costly and cost does not suit as per the level of hotel
Location maybe a bit tricky, got lost a couple of times when tried to get back to the hotel. But the rooms are nice and clean, cleans sheets and bathroom. Staff is decent too. Can't recollect if wifi was available. Food is ok too.
My husband frequently travels to Jamnagar on his projects. This hotel is tucked away in a busy market. Do not misjudge by its location or appearance. This place offers neat cool rooms with zero noise that you can have a peaceful undistrubed sleep. The economy rates make it an irresistable package. Food is available but fairly costly. Since there are numerous restaurants nearby, this is not a problem. Recommended for families and is a first choice in Jamnagar for economy, neat and sound proof rooms.
