The hotel is located is a lovely upscale gated community and it is located very close to Ummaid Bhavan. In fact you can jog upto Ummaid Bhavan on a good day. The accommodation was homely, Clean and comfortable. The food was quite good. Just be mindful of the fact that the place does not have elevators and one would have to climb one or two floors depending on where your room is.
Stayed with family for a night on 29 Dec 16. In fact it is a HOME STAY and managed by Mr Gupta family. Excellent owner and excellent staff. Good rooms and it is neat and clean. Food is very homely although strictly veg but it is very very tasty. ONLY SUGGESTION to Mr Gupta to ensure that the chef reduces a bit of ghee / oil in preparations. The best part was the breakfast served to us . Very homely , tasty & healthy. One more suggestion to Mr Gupta that he should increase the complimentary water quantity. Though we were 3 adults the complimentary water was 2 bottles of 55 ml. Also other than the complimentary packaged water the arrangement must be made to supply some RO water in the room which the guests can use for tea / coffee making. Overall the property is worth staying for the value of money they charge. J K Sahoo, Bhubaneswar , ODISHA .
This is a very good stay option in Jodhpur. It is in a colony which is just an extension of the Umaid bhawan palace. The food quality and service is good. I had a back ache, and they were accomodative enough to replace it with the harder mattress which was more suitable to me. The rooms and guest house was kept in a very good condition and were well maintained. There is a shop in the basement which have some nice shopping options of artifacts made by them. A rooftop restaurant overlooking palace right in the front, and bicycles provided by them just add to the charm.
Out of three days in Jodhpur, I spent one at Apnayt. Our host Mr. Ashish made us feel welcomed. The rooms are well appointed with all modern amenities. Sense of cleanliness and hygiene is commendable. The breakfast was simple - toast, idli, poha, cereals - but freshly prepared and hot. Don't forget to visit the little handicraft store in the basement. I quite liked the collection there. This will be my stay if I happen to visit Jodhpur again.
This was one of the best places we stayed in during our 10 day trip in India. The property and rooms are beautiful and tastefully decorated. The owner is very welcoming and friendly. We arrived late in the evening and were still offered a home cooked meal, which was excellent. The rooftop terrace has a wonderful view of the palace. You should not miss to take one of the bikes for a ride through the community. The little store in the basement is worth a visit.
